Food: amazing. Everything was perfectly prepared and seasoned. Although it was 8 courses, ended up having 11 different dishes/bites. No complaints there. Service seemed to slow about halfway but didn't bother me too much. Chef Nugent came out and greeted tables at the end of the evening, which was nice. He and his wife seem to genuinely care about each diner's experience. The atmosphere is nice, although your overall experience will be dependent on who happens to be dining at the same time. It's a small dining space and being BYOB (a plus), some people can get a little boisterous and forget to use their "indoor voices" as was the case w/ one diner during our meal(not a plus). It wasn't the restaurant's fault but it did affect the ambiance

Our experience at Goosefoot was, in a word, wonderful, though I must elaborate. The food was both exquisite and delicious. At Goosefoot you have the opportunity to experience the creative culinary talents of Chef Nugent unrestricted by the rigidity of a more traditional establishment. The service at Goosefoot was attentive and extremely kind. The atmosphere, while certainly elegant, felt laid-back and comfortable. This was a high quality fine dining experience without any of the stuffiness. I highly recommend and look forward to dining with them again.

Great night at Goosefoot. Our favorites were the soup and the cheese course, but everything was very good if not excellent. Interesting to us that for such a popular restaurant there were empty tables all night. I know it's a long wait for a reservation, but why the open tables? Also we were called by the restaurant in the late afternoon one day prior and were told that if we did not respond by the end of the evening they would assume we weren't coming. This was a little concerning. What if I didn't get that message or neglected to respond? I always let a restaurant know if we are not coming. Know they're newly opened and we're hoping these are just growing pains.

Goosefoot exceeded our high expectations. From the moment we stepped in the door to moment we stepped out, we were treated as very special guests and every course was just amazing. The flavors were outstanding and the presentation of each dish was beautiful. The price point is excellent for this type of restaurant and I love that it is byob. We can't wait to go again!
