"Several unique menu items including a delicious lamb burger, a humus plate that included fresh cucumber,tomatoes, greek olives and red onion, and a cheese sampler with 3 chesses, fresh fruit, jam, and mixed nuts. The wait person recommended a nice beer (the Sophie) for one of our guests who typically is a wine officianado."

"I really enjoyed the Goose Island Brewery. Mostly, because I love beer from Goose Island. I thought the prices were fair, our waitress was amazing but I thought the food was awful.

I got the Stilton burger which was cooked perfectly but they put so much cheese on it, I couldn't taste the pumpernickel bread or the burger patty. The fried were completely under seasoned and they seemed to only be the ends of the cut potato... where did the rest of the fry go and why was it cold?

Most people in our group did not enjoy their food, but we loved the atmosphere, the service and the beer."

"I am very pleased with my overall experience. The beer was awesome, and for the most part the food was pretty good as well (I found the steak in the steak sandwich to be a bit tough). Waiter was good, and ambience was great."

"We came earlier than our reservations so we could sit at the bar and sample the beers. It was worth the time to sit at the large bar and enjoy the wide variety of Goose Island brews. Once we sat down at the table the food was good and pared with the beers well. Service was okay but a little slow. It was a Saturday night though so I will forgive a bit. I would recommend this place for those who are looking for a good brew pub in the city. Just what we expected."

"This is not our first time dining here, but definitely our lowest service experience. Food and beer were wonderful (fried fish and beef stew were our favorites), and staff was nice, but it took over 10 minutes just to get drinks. Appetizers were another 30, and entrees were almost an hour. However, this was all over shadowed by the deliciousness of the food and our enjoyment of the locally brewed beer."
