This was a real bargain. Everyone enjoyed their food (fish tacos, pasta, roast chicken). The food is simple but very well prepared, the ambience is very pleasant, the service very good. We had gone there because a friend had recommended it and we would definitely recommend it to others. I will definitely be back! The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff excellent and we truly enjoyed the meal! I would say that there are so many options in New York City, but few I'm so intrigued to return a second time, however this place is now a favorite and moving forward my trusted choice and recommendation to anyone in or new to the city.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMLove this RestaurantThis was my third time at GOOD. It never disappoints. When so many NYC restaurants have taken away the simple white table cloth - it is a pleasure to sit at a neighborhood gem and be served with grace. The 'bites' were very good as were the fish tacos and Monday night special Fried Chicken. And don't forget the huge Lamb burger!

I have always loved this place. Went Saturday for first time in about a year. Server was GREAT, and I have to say charming under duress of kitchen of being slow. But so impressed they comped our appetizer which took way too long to come out and sent us dessert.
