A word from Good Earth Roseville
Come for food that's "so good, so natural, so close to the earth," writes Citysearch.com, "that it doesn't need much augmentation."

The Good Earth, however,
receives plenty of adulation --- from critics impressed with our commitment to top ingredients, to a loyal clientele that make the
Good Earth their first choice for hearty, healthy eating. Both locations offer a diverse menu ranging from comfort food classics to fiery curries. Yet it's not just the cooking that earns accolades...

"Good things come in the attitude of the servers, who know the menu and do everything they can to enhance your dining experience; and the airy, pleasant feel of these spaces that were smoke-free long before it became PC."

Server was a little inattentive and not very personable, slow to bring water and bread basket to table and rarely offered refills on those. But the tea refills came quickly and the food was fabulous.

The food at Good Earth is always so fresh and healthy and different than any other restaurant around. The experience starts from the minute you enter with all the wonderful smells and friendly people who work there. The menue changes as the seasons do and that is very nice and I love the special beverages they offer. My girl friends and I (which is usually who I dine with when I go there) usually have a giggle or two that every time I look at the menue I usually have to have some explanations ... that's because it offers such unique food. Wish I had one closer to me in Brooklyn Park or Maple Grove area.

This was my first time here, but sure wont be my last. I found it on OpenTable and after reading reviews and me being n the mood for something different, I had to give this place a try. Trying to find parking during lunch was a challenge..Circled the lot 3 times before parking was available. Very busy for sure. But once I was in and seated right away, the service was great and the menu had a great variety as well. Definitely for the "health freak" so to say... but everyone can find something. I had a smoothie , from a list of thousand different varieties...lol.... and a 3 course lunch.. wasn't disappointed at all.... and decent price for being all natural as well.... will be back.

Online reservations through opentable - we made one, but wouldn't have needed to. The Roseville Good Earth has the same healthy menu as the Edina Good Earth and is nearly identical in style. The only difference is that it almost a certainty that reservations are necessary at the Edina Good Earth during peak hours, but we found the Roseville Good Earth to be less than half full on a Saturday evening at 7:30. So if you want the healthy dining experience of Good Earth but can't get a reservation at your desired time in Edina, try the Roseville location.

  • Saturday morning breakfast.

A group of 8 met for breakfast with a reservation, we were immediately seated and the table was all prepared for us. Members of our group arrived at different times soit was a little difficult for our server to keep up with other tables and our disjointed arrivals. I hadn't eaten here for breakfast before so this was a new experiance. For me, I was not impressed with the pancakes. My biggest frustration is that I have been a frequent patron since the first store by old Brookdale opened almost 25 years ago. I come for the cashew chicken salad and the Good Earth icd tea. Over the past few years, the tea has gotten weaker and weaker. Saturday, you could hardly taste the different flavors; it was not much different than plain black tea.

Good Earth tries hard but never quite seems to deliver. The aroma of spices is almost overwhelming when you walk in. The menu items looked and sounded great on the menu but were so-so although wines were nice. Flatbread was undercooked and artichoke dip was thick and gloppy. Service was poor when we were there -- 3 different servers who seemed to disappear for long periods when we wanted something.

Met a past colleague for lunch - we had a great time! So many wonderful menu selections and those that we chose were exceptionally fresh and nummy. We were a little bummed by the price of the beverages, but this did not hinder our good experience. (Though, $3.75 for an iced tea felt a bit high in cost.)

This Minnesota "Good Earth" has pretty good food that is vibrant, enticing, and delectable for the taste buds. However, on the day, that I was there with a guest, we were placed next to a couple that had young children (even though I requested a booth not near others - which this facility cannot accomodate). Needless to say... they got a bit rowdy and very noisy. Normal for children but, you know. Do not try their Green Tea with a"hint" of mango. The mango barely stepped into this tea. Ambience is rated by me as "NOT SO GREAT!!!" Food is pretty good but, I cannot totally be "BONKERS" for this Minnesota ------ Good Earth restaurant. Somewhat disappointed!

Last time I visitied this Roseville location was about 1986. Back then I loved the quality of food and the water which had slices of lemon. For the last several years I have filtered my water by removing chlorine and fluoride among other crap. So now I can detect chlorine with 1 small sip. Yuck. The water at Good Earth is like almost all restaurants - full of chlorine and other junk! The only restaurant that I have found that has awesome water is the Original Pancake House in Maple Grove, MN. Now back to the Good Earth - Roseville, I was generous with my Ambience rating. A remodel is in order, period. I felt like I was in a cave-poor lighting, low ceilings compared to other places. I had to eat again before bed--just not enough food

Another wonderful casual dinner at Good Earth Roseville. There were six of us, including 2- and 4-year olds. Our server bought a bowl of fruit for each one right away to help keep the hunger dragons at bay. Monthly specials with featured ingredients are always terrific. Our only issue was a delay in receiving the order of the yams for the kids. One of our favorite places.

I had the gingered carrot soup - we came here because I saw it on the seasonal menu. I had had it before and knew it to be wonderful. It was. I also had the Thai chicken satay appetizer. You get two for 9.00 on a bed of napa slaw. They are good, but it is a bit expensive for what you get. My friend had the grilled chicken with summer salad and proclaimed it the best meal she has had there and said so many times. I always get the whole lemonade, I love it, not too sweet, like many lemonades, and just right tart to be refreshing.

This was my first experience visiting the Roseville Good Earth location as I typically go to the Edina one. The service was excellent and the food was just as great as the Edina location. The ambience seemed a bit "dated" and cramped, but as for cramped it was a late-Sunday morning AND father's day. I brought my father to this location as he requested pancakes. He had the buttermilk ones and I had the whole grain with blueberries; we both loved our meals! He even tried my whole grain pancakes, noting they were delicious and he would order them next time. They are not like the typical whole grain pancake; not very "grain-y" at all. Just simply delicious! I love the Good Earth and I will continue to go here, and refer it to a friend.
