A word from Good Earth Roseville
Come for food that's "so good, so natural, so close to the earth," writes Citysearch.com, "that it doesn't need much augmentation."

The Good Earth, however,
receives plenty of adulation --- from critics impressed with our commitment to top ingredients, to a loyal clientele that make the
Good Earth their first choice for hearty, healthy eating. Both locations offer a diverse menu ranging from comfort food classics to fiery curries. Yet it's not just the cooking that earns accolades...

"Good things come in the attitude of the servers, who know the menu and do everything they can to enhance your dining experience; and the airy, pleasant feel of these spaces that were smoke-free long before it became PC."

Our server went ballistic when we asked for separate checks. It was very unpleasant, and I think she was having a bad day. We grabbed our coats and got out of there. We go to GE a lot and this was a first.

This is my go-to place for business lunches. The food is delicious, organic and locally sourced. While it's not much to look at and can be loud, the food is worth it. Be sure to make a reservation at lunchtime, or you'll likely have a long wait.

We have eaten here fairly often, and enjoyed the different and fresh options. It's gotten too pricey for the quality, though. My paparadelle pasta was heavy and gluey -- and that's pretty much been the trend recently. Friends thought the burgers and Napa Cabbage Slaw were good. It will be a while before we go back.

Let's start with the food; it was amazing. All four of our meals were delicious and were awesome healthy spins on home classics as well as classics from other countries. Our server, Chad, was to be commended. He helped my parents through the menu, since they'd never been there before, and he was very courteous. You'd be missing out if you didn't go!

i work near by the restaurant at a hotel and i always recommend good earth to our out of town guests! eventhough i have never eaten there myself but i always hear good reviews from the guests and coworkers. i received a gift card to the restaurant so i finally decided to try it out. we arrived earlier than our reservation time and they were able to seat my husband and i. food was good and our waitress was very friendly and had good suggestions on what we should try since it was our first time there.

The food was very good except for the chicken stir-fry. It wasn't like any stir-fry I'd ever had and was unappealing - just a few green beans and a dark and uninteresting sauce. Parking was hard! But all that said, I'll still be back. The wait-staff was great!

Our orders were curry and salmon for dinner, carrot cake for dessert. The curry was tasteless, lacking in true curry flavor and spices. The salmon was a misguided attempt, perhaps, at asian infusion; the edamame somehow didn't quite go with the salmon or whatever black grains, the spicyness masked the nice flavors of the salmon. The carrot cake was way too huge as a portion and was so dry, the layers began to fall apart when a fork was applied. Service was sensitive and very good. These are orders that would not be repeated by us. The chef attempts at creativity are missing the mark where taste, flavor quality are concerned.

Everything on the menu is delicious. In particular, they use locally sourced and sometimes organic foods, as well as providing gluten free options. This restaurant has great juices and smoothies, and their meals are always great. I've eaten here for breakfast, lunch AND dinner, and I've never been disappointed. The service is always fast and helpful. Highly recommend this restaurant!

The service is prompt and friendly. The server helped my wife find a specific hot tea that she did not remember the name of, but had a few years ago. We had some hummus and bread before lunch and the hummus was some of the best I have had. The menu has something for everyone and the portion sizes are very satisfying. We usually do not get dessert< but they have a pumpkin cheesecake I had to try. All I have to say is, WOW! There is even a dollop of homemade whipped cream on top. My wife had the chocolate lava cake with ice cream and that was excellent also. I would highly recommend eating at Good Earth.

The service was outstanding!! Very attentive and quick. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and immediately seated. They started us off with coffee (excellent! - I had Chai Tea), fresh juices and smoothies all which were very tasty. The prep was very quick. Our food was excellent (the kids loved the bacon - nitrate free). We had veggie skillets, sausage skillet, pancakes. Enough choices for everyone and was fresh and flavorful. Our server was very friendly and we had a conversation about what we were in town for, shopping suggestions, etc. The next day we came back to grab some wonderful treats from the bakery case and the hostess remembered us and asked how the shopping was. The bakery items were out of this world!! Huge cookies!

The waitress goofed on a few things for the people we were with but cheerfully corrected them. I wish the fall menu had been available. We missed it by a few days. I had the bento box which I wasn't really familiar with. I wouldn't order it again but I think it just wasn't my taste. The wine was very good and it was only $10/bottle. We didn't feel rushed and were able to visit with friends easily. It is in the neighborhood. I've really enjoyed lunches there previously and had amazing service!

We were greeted by our server, he took our drinks and food order. It took a long time for us to receive our drinks-just tea. Then the food service was lumped together. I received my soup and the bread basket the same time the table including myself received the entrees.

My husband and I visited Good Earth because I had been given a gift card nearly a year ago. We checked the menu online but weren't sure what to actually expect. Our waiter seemed somewhat unfamiliar with the menu and drink options. Our appetizer took some time to arrive - and was warm, not hot. The entrees were "OK" but nothing I would return for. It was loud because there were so many tables in the space - many tables for 2. The restaurant was full - so something draws people there. I just didn't see what that something was on my visit. Perhaps it was all the "healthy" food descriptions.

We have been to the Good Earth many times but always for breakfast. This time it was for dinner and my Thai Chicken wrap was fantastic. Great flavors. A little messy to eat but worth it. The Soup we had was also wonderful. The couple next to us had a dish that was served in and on an acorn squash they said was excellent. Very imaginative chef. Our server was new and nervous, she could use some oversight as she spilled soup on the man next to us but after apologizing she turned and started helping us while he cleaned up. She should have done more for him.

The food at Good Earth is always so fresh and healthy and different than any other restaurant around. The experience starts from the minute you enter with all the wonderful smells and friendly people who work there. The menue changes as the seasons do and that is very nice and I love the special beverages they offer. My girl friends and I (which is usually who I dine with when I go there) usually have a giggle or two that every time I look at the menue I usually have to have some explanations ... that's because it offers such unique food. Wish I had one closer to me in Brooklyn Park or Maple Grove area.

This was my first time here, but sure wont be my last. I found it on OpenTable and after reading reviews and me being n the mood for something different, I had to give this place a try. Trying to find parking during lunch was a challenge..Circled the lot 3 times before parking was available. Very busy for sure. But once I was in and seated right away, the service was great and the menu had a great variety as well. Definitely for the "health freak" so to say... but everyone can find something. I had a smoothie , from a list of thousand different varieties...lol.... and a 3 course lunch.. wasn't disappointed at all.... and decent price for being all natural as well.... will be back.
