A word from Good Earth Roseville
Come for food that's "so good, so natural, so close to the earth," writes Citysearch.com, "that it doesn't need much augmentation."

The Good Earth, however,
receives plenty of adulation --- from critics impressed with our commitment to top ingredients, to a loyal clientele that make the
Good Earth their first choice for hearty, healthy eating. Both locations offer a diverse menu ranging from comfort food classics to fiery curries. Yet it's not just the cooking that earns accolades...

"Good things come in the attitude of the servers, who know the menu and do everything they can to enhance your dining experience; and the airy, pleasant feel of these spaces that were smoke-free long before it became PC."

  • "Good Earth is a delightful place to eat. The food was flavorful and the made an allergy accommodation-no problem."

  • "Definitely a 10! Our waiter was well informed on the menu and selection of wines. Very kind and courteous. Would like to adopt him as my son."

  • "We had out of state family pop in unexpectedly and was able to reserve eight seats in an hour. Great food and wonderful service 😃!"

  • "Wonderful organic food. Loved the Watermelon and Baby Kale salad. Thoughtful free birthday cake for my friend. The carrot cake was delicious."

  • "This Minnesota "Good Earth" has pretty good food that is vibrant, enticing, and delectable for the taste buds. However, on the day, that I was there with a guest, we were placed next to a couple that had young children (even though I requested a booth not near others - which this facility cannot accomodate). Needless to say... they got a bit rowdy and very noisy. Normal for children but, you know. Do not try their Green Tea with a"hint" of mango. The mango barely stepped into this tea. Ambience is rated by me as "NOT SO GREAT!!!" Food is pretty good but, I cannot totally be "BONKERS" for this Minnesota ------ Good Earth restaurant. Somewhat disappointed!"

  • "Last time I visitied this Roseville location was about 1986. Back then I loved the quality of food and the water which had slices of lemon. For the last several years I have filtered my water by removing chlorine and fluoride among other crap. So now I can detect chlorine with 1 small sip. Yuck. The water at Good Earth is like almost all restaurants - full of chlorine and other junk! The only restaurant that I have found that has awesome water is the Original Pancake House in Maple Grove, MN. Now back to the Good Earth - Roseville, I was generous with my Ambience rating. A remodel is in order, period. I felt like I was in a cave-poor lighting, low ceilings compared to other places. I had to eat again before bed--just not enough food"

  • "Another wonderful casual dinner at Good Earth Roseville. There were six of us, including 2- and 4-year olds. Our server bought a bowl of fruit for each one right away to help keep the hunger dragons at bay. Monthly specials with featured ingredients are always terrific. Our only issue was a delay in receiving the order of the yams for the kids. One of our favorite places."

  • "The Good Earth in Roseville is one of my most favorite go to places for excellent food and service and environment to "catch up" with friends."

  • "Overall unimpressive. The food was bland and the restaurant could use a facelift. I've been to the Edina location several times and was much more impressed with their food, service and ambience. I would not return to the Roseville location."

  • "I had the gingered carrot soup - we came here because I saw it on the seasonal menu. I had had it before and knew it to be wonderful. It was. I also had the Thai chicken satay appetizer. You get two for 9.00 on a bed of napa slaw. They are good, but it is a bit expensive for what you get. My friend had the grilled chicken with summer salad and proclaimed it the best meal she has had there and said so many times. I always get the whole lemonade, I love it, not too sweet, like many lemonades, and just right tart to be refreshing."

  • "This was my first experience visiting the Roseville Good Earth location as I typically go to the Edina one. The service was excellent and the food was just as great as the Edina location. The ambience seemed a bit "dated" and cramped, but as for cramped it was a late-Sunday morning AND father's day. I brought my father to this location as he requested pancakes. He had the buttermilk ones and I had the whole grain with blueberries; we both loved our meals! He even tried my whole grain pancakes, noting they were delicious and he would order them next time. They are not like the typical whole grain pancake; not very "grain-y" at all. Just simply delicious! I love the Good Earth and I will continue to go here, and refer it to a friend."

  • "Staff was not trained well and made several mistakes. Perhaps they were new employees or understaffed, but it was so poor we will likely not go back despite their good food and GREAT sangria."

  • "If the food wasn't so good, we wouldn't come back. Our table of 8, which I booked way in advance, had to ask for water, wine, the chance to order, bread, and our check. And on a Tuesday night! Good Earth is good because all different tastes are met, at a reasonable price."

  • "We usually thoroughly enjoy or dining experience at GE, every time. Based on awesome past experiences, we went to GE for my daughter's birthday (who by the way took an unusually long nap so I had to keep pushing out the reservations but the hostesses were super accomodating to us). The servers are usually very friendly but this time, our server made it clear that she wasn't a happy waiter. She wasn't friendly at all & got annoyed with my father in-law that he changed his mind when ordering & asked her to come back to him & then she forgot. I was a waiter myself for many years & always smiled & was friendly & as accomodating as I could be so when I got out & don't get the same great service, I am disappointed."

  • "I would have to come back to this place over 100 times to be truly satisfied... This place has so many options and they all sound so delicious! The fruit smoothie/protein shakes were great and the food was yummy"

  • "Thursday night special was wonderful. They were very accomodating with children. ( This was the second time in four days we went to dinner with small children - the first time with a 4 year old and 21 month old, and the second time with an 11-month old.) The bread basket is unlimited, and the monthly specials menu always has interesting combinations of two or three featured ingredients. Reservations via Open Table are almost essential because it's very busy."

  • "A wonderful selection of natural foods. The lamb burger was amazing, as were the smoothies. Even the filtered water was great! We'll be back if we return to the area."

  • "Celiacs require chefs and servers who understand that gluten can be likened to a toxic substance that causes all kinds of bodily ramifications for the Celiac, some of which can be quite nasty. Celiacs can be on a range of seriousness, also. My daughter is on the really serious high end of the scale while I am somewhere on the lower end of seriousness. Good Earth serves well-thought-out, nutritionally meritorious and well presented food. We enjoy each visit. Please keep up the much appreciated good work of serving the Celiac, who finds it so hard to enjoy chef-prepared meals in good restaurants."

  • "Really like eating at GE. Food is consistently very good. If they truly want to improve restaurant it needs a serious remodel!!! It looks like its from the early 80's. The tables are a little too close or it could just be the lighting and colors used, it's just weird. The outdoor patio is pretty bad, usually too hot, noisey and not only is it literally right on a parking lot it also faces a major highway. And in August inundated with bees! It looks like there is room to build a patio behind the building where it's very open, away from the ugly front and there are even nice trees in the back, and I believe it's right next to the kitchen. I will continue to eat here, because of a shortage of good healthy restaurants in this area. "

  • "My friends and I have eaten here before, but this time we had a lovely lunch out on the covered patio. We really enjoyed being outdoors and in the shade so it was very comfortable. Yes, there were times that the traffic from the highway was a bit loud, but we managed to hear our conversations without much difficulty. I felt the service was slower than normal, but we weren't in a hurry. As usually, the food was excellent!"

  • "Good Earth is our daughter favorite restaurant and visit regularly. Ordered the Hoisin Chicken stir fry as did our son. When delivered, for being the same meal, it looked a lot different. Seems the cook forgot to add chicken to my meal. When the waiter finally came around I pointed it out. Asked for the meat, but when I finally got it, was very over cooked!. Our service by Dustin was just as forgettable as he didn't check back after the food was served, and remind him multiple times for ice tea refills and box for the leftovers to name a few. Talked to acting manager on duty afterwards but seemed disengaged as she knew about the kitchen error (did nothing) and had an employee working over 12 hours & delivering poor service."

  • "Our waiter(do not know his name as wait staff did not wear name tags) was not good. He did not remember who ordered what, did not mention a gluten free menu even though I had asked for the gluten free bread basket and he was not very attentive. 4 women in mid 60s may have been the problem but I may be showing my bias. I still tipped him 20% thinking he may have had a bad day. "

  • "Good Earth is a unique restaurant that I always like going to for the food. The atmosphere is a bit suburban and bland, and the service tends to be very slow, but it's always worth it for the fresh and natural food (and the tea). Reservations are helpful as it tends to get busy even on weekdays. There are good weekday specials as well."

  • "We have been to this restaurant SO many times. This is the first time that the food and the service were absolutely terrible. Not sure if we would go back again. We are torn. It seems to be declining each time we go. Nothing to look forward to now. They need to get it together."
