Golden BeetleGreat Brunch!I took my Mom here for Mother's Day brunch. The atmosphere was very nice - Mom especially liked the stained glass hanging lamps. We ordered the Lamb Hash and the Sundried Tomato and Fennel Scramble. The Lamb Hash was very flavorful, and it wasn't too spicy for my Mom's tastes. The Sundried Tomato and Fennel scramble was great! For dessert you have to try the sour cherry crepe cake it's like nothing I have ever had before. The food is fresh and organic and very flavorful, and our server was friendly and helpful. We attended a whiskey/vodka sampling and class on distilling. If you ever get a chance to take a cocktail class here (from Andy, their outstanding bartender) don't miss it. Worth the $50 price. Included outstanding drinks, appetizers (including their specialty olives, hummus and pita as well as their wonderful spiced fries and a lot of fun and learning. We are planning on going back for more soon.

My bride had the Carlton Farms’ Slow Roasted Baby Back Pork Ribs and I had the Savory Chickpea & Lemon Stew - walnut,yogurt, crouton with Lamb Sausage. We both tasted everything and it was outstanding. The food was delicious. It was perfectly flavored and seasoned. Those were both 5 star nights. The third time was a different story. The Brussels Sprouts had a lot more chilies than the prior two times. It was so heavily spiced I couldn't finish them. The spanakopita was too rich. Both my husband and I loved both dishes the first two times, but this time it was different. He described it as sharper. I thought it too creamy. My experience with Tilth was that it was inconsistent. When it was good, it was one of the best, but when it wasn't good it was disappointing.
