I have visited The Golden Beetle on quite a few occasions. The food is always good and very interesting. And a great selection of wines. A good mix of ages of clients, which makes it comfortable. Staff is friendly and efficient. Noise level a little high, but I'm older and perhaps more sensitive. Definitely recommend the restaurant to others.

We celebrate 3 birthday's every year at a new restaurant and this was our choice this year. We all shared dishes and the servers were very happy to assist us with this. WE enjoyed the various dishes and were able to try more things that way. Your fresh pita is awesome.

The bar seating is approxiamately half the restaurant. We had two under age children (18 and 16) and needed to sit in the actual restaurant part. A nice couple moved to the bar area so we could be seated in the restaurant area (THANK YOU) Our kids are adenturous eaters and enjoyed everything. The four of us shared the grilled cheese and beet salad which was exceptional (wish I had one to myself) and I refused to share my duck!! We had to wait a bit for dessert, but definitely worth the wait.

This place just has excellent food. I am picky about where I go to eat and this place has some of the best food in Seattle, without being too pricy. The service is also top notch. It really is a gem!

We're all about small plates and love Eastern Mediterranean food, and Golden Beetle is spot on for both. Their spanakopita is no doubt the best I've ever had and they have a brilliant pomegranate dip that you just can't get enough of, the kibbeh is good too.
The only thing that could/should be improved is the pita bread, feels somewhat industrial and cardboardy, baking it in-house isn't that hard and makes a huge difference.

Unfortunately, the group table next to us had a great time partying and they were very LOUD!
The service was good and the food was excellent and memorable. The special thin sliced russet potato roll was light yet savory and beautifully plated. I love Tilth but, the GB atmosphere is more spacious, inviting, warm and contemporary. I hope that you'll always have a happy hour and small plates on the dinner menu during this economic downturn.
