Gobo - Greenwich VillageAlways a winnerWe love eating at Gobo. The food is always great and the service is prompt and friendly. It's a casual place but the quality of the food is excellent. We always enjoy watching the faces of our guests who are always skeptical about vegan food light up when the food is really really really good.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved GoboFood was great and service good. I have been there a few times and have never been disappointed. Food is very fresh, perfectly cooked and it's all vegan!6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMBest veganConsistently delicious vegan menu. Warm, attentive service. This is a friendly, happy place. I bring out of town friends here all the time and they always insist on returning. Try tempura sweet potato fries or roasted seasonal vegetables. Everything we've tried has been excellent.5/29/2013 12:00:00 AMDeliciousThe food was great and the waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. Although I probably overate a little bit, I left the restaurant feeling healthy. Everything I've tried has been delicious.5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful food and serviceI got to Gobo a little early and the hostess took it in stride and allowed to sit anyway. The restaurant is so peaceful and lovely. You can see the chefs and into the kitchen. I had two wonderful servers, who truly made my meal. One of my fellow diners failed to call and tell me they weren't coming. While one was almost two hours late but this was due to traffic. Enough about that, I want to talk about the food. I had the Spinach Wontons. So light with a incredibly good dipping sauce, of I believe mango and something else. The second plate I had was the Pine Nut Vegetable Medley With Lettuce Wraps. I could have easily eaten another plate of this. I had passion fruit brule for desert. It was wonderful. I have to come back.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMVegan ParadiseGobo has an outrageous menu. It was hard to choose so we ordered more and planned on left overs. All our dishes were tasty and cooked perfectly. Service was attentive and unobtrusive. II plan on returning.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Veterian RestaurantAlthough I am not vegetian, but my wife is, I found in the menu variety of dishes and tastes that I really liked5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMAll good!Lots of variety of delicious vegetarian dishes. Very creative. Great atmosphere and service.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food is great, the tablesThe food is great, the tables are terrifyingly close to one another. Despite some pretty slow service, the dinner was still wonderful thanks to the malaysian curry, seitan skewers, and spicy bean curd, among other tasty plates.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMInventive food but a bit noisyGobo is one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. I find the Greenwich Village location a bit more frenetic than the Upper East Site location. However, the food overwhelmingly makes up for the noise and the cramped table space.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food is stellar. GoboThe food is stellar.
