The service was prompt, professional and friendly. But who cares about any of the rest....the food was Itialian to its core. I have never had gnochhi anywhere that tasted just like my mother's homemade gnocchi, not even in Italy. The only glitch was the music: an endless do-loop of derums and synthesizer that was too loud. The chef here is fabulous - everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. Even the pizza is the best ever! Our only issue is that the service is often very slow. It's not the fault of the wait staff, who are wonderful and try very hard - it's because there aren't enough wait staff. Our waiter had multiple tables and was trying hard to keep everyone happy, but he was only one guy and it was impossible to be everywhere at once. Have patience if you eat here, the food is worth the wait. But I hope they hire more waiters/waitresses!!!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat FindWe were pleasantly surprised as we walked in. Very cute. We were in the covered outdoor room out back -- which, I assume, would have the cover removed during warm, nice weather. The food was very good. The service was very good. The price of the food was reasonable. However, we ordered a bottle of wine. There was no choice -- they just had 1 red wine. So we ordered it. We were surprised to see we were charged $44 for that bottle. A tad expensive, I would say. Then with tax & tip on it, it actually cost us over $55.
