Global Restaurant, Bar & LoungeWonderful Fathers Day treat!I found this restaurant on Living Social and decided to take my husband here to surprise him for Father's Day. Our experience was wonderful. Our waitor was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was fantastic. We had the beef tartar, the she crab soup, the diver scallops, the lamb, and finished with the trio of creme brûlée. I have no complaints! The chef even came to the table to introduce himself and check to see if we were pleased. Minor complaints - food took a little long to get to table but was well worth the wait. Tables were slightly too long for the handholding we like to do. Didn't care for the veggies paired with my fish but the fish itself was exceptionally delicious. The owner was entirely wonderful and gracious and greeted you before exit, always a nice touch. Other than my veggies, the food was exceptional, my fish perfect and the creme brulee same, and it was a pleasant, romantic spot. The olives in my dish popped with a flavor I had not experienced before - it was awesome. Well executed dishes w/good presentation. Attentive & helpful service. It was half empty on a Saturday night; the location is so hidden there is no way to see it from the street.
