The food portions have been getting smaller over the last year or so. Stay away from the two-bite crab cake. Apparently they expect people to fill up on their kettle (potato) chips instead. Generally speaking, this is a good place to go if one is on a diet. The lobster roll is still worth trying...and the drinks are well made.

Dinner was okay. However, when it came time for the bill to be processed and the server was presented with a $20 check from Open Table, it took 20 minutes to get it processed and our bill paid. A manager had to be called....and I don't know what else took so long. The experience left an overall bad impression of our evening which is too bad because the service otherwise was good, and the food was decent..

This hotel restaurant has been a Sunday brunch heaven for years. The large room is filled with a huge assortment of brunch items ranging from beverages to deserts. If you don't see it, you can ask and many requests will be filled. Depending on the size of your group, you may have service people only for your table or shared with other tables. We were there for a birthday with seven people, each person was overwhelmed with the variety of choices and the total amount of food that was on display. Although the room was completely filled, we were able to have conversations without interruptions. It is expensive, but for a special occasion, it is a treat.

With 1/2 priced bar food and drinks (M-Th), nice spot to o after work. Some misses (nachos), some adequates (loaded kettle chips) so hits (wings) on the bar menu. Best item, though, is burger. Cooked to correct temp, good bun and choice of toppings, probably what they do best. Lobster roll pretty good as well (really lobster salad on bun vs Maine-style).

This is the second time within several months I have encountered service "issues," and felt embarassed for recommending the restaurant to my dining companions. Thursday night a friend and myself dining outdoors were left unattended for almost a half an hour, and I had to get up and find someone to ask for the check. A couple of months ago I made Sunday brunch reservations way in advance for a party of 8, and when we arrived they did not have a table ready for us and the abrupt unfriendly young hostess refused to push 2 tables together to accomodate us. After I complained to another staff member who looked to be a manager, he hastily put the tables together for us. It was a total embarrassment and very awkward in front of my friends.

Overall outstanding experience! Our server was Nick and he was great. Our glasses never went below half-full. Also, the food came out very quickly and was delicious. I recommend the southwestern nachos, filet mignon, and warm apple pie. A note about the apple pie: we ordered it expecting a slice, but they brought out a personal-sized whole apple pie that had been made and baked fresh for us. It was divine! This restaurant is one of my favorites and I will definitely be going back very soon!

Lovely lunch. We requested a quiet table and it was perfect: a booth in the bar area - quiet at lunch! Shortly after we were served, another waiter ? sat 2 young matrons with 3 crying, screaming children in the booth directly behind us. We waited for the noise to abide. But the whining was so loud, I could not hear my lunch colleague! We asked our waiter - DAVE who is outstanding - to move us and he did so quickly and smoothly. The other party could have been seated anywhere in the bar area as it was pretty empty if that waiter had been paying attention! I want to thank DAVE for his attention to what was happening and for enabling us to really enjoy ourselves. Other than that - the GM Bar and Grille is a wonderful place for lunch!

The food was amazing! Between the 3 of us we had the Philly Cheesesteak Quesadilla, South Pacific Fish Tacos, Yellowfin Ahi Tuna, and the Grilled Chicken Pesto. All of them were delicious, and the tuna was some of the best tuna I have had in awhile. I wasn't super impressed with the dessert menu, but the food was great! Our server was really sweet and nice, and had a smile on her face the whole time.

We have been there a number of times for Sunday brunch, and when I was looking for a nice place to have a family luncheon to celebrate my son's graduation from college, this was a logical choice. The food was good, and appropriately priced, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. It was the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday, and it wasn't too crowded which allowed us to move around a little and not feel pressured to eat and leave.

Not crowded for a Saturday night; a few booths occupied by couples and a large party of about 12. The waiter explained the Prime Rib special, but couldn't give us a menu insert because there were none left. He suggested the $12 glass of cabernet which complemented the prime rib, which we both decided to try. Here's the problem...he never brought it to the table. We had to flag another waiter to bring us our wine and we were both half-way through our dinner. Our food was good, service was prompt (except for the wine situation), but it was very cold. A constant draft was blowing overhead. I asked about it, but nothing changed. I might go back, but with so many different restaurants in the area, I would try another one first.

The restaurant was not very busy initially but the tables were very crushed together. Food and service were OK - not great but after 8pm the place got so noisy that we couldn't even talk to each other around the table - loud groups and the next table might as well have been shouting in our ears. We asked to be moved to the bar where it was actually much quieter and more pleasant. Wouldn't go here again.
