Diner Reviews
  • "We have been to Glass at Ledges Hotel several times and the dining experience is always wonderful. The food is exceptional, the service is attentive and the view is beyond description. We will return again and again."

  • "The place is beautiful, we loved the ambiance and the decor. The wine list had some of our favorite wines (Kistler). It was a prix fixe Valentine's Day dinner. The food was pretty good. What we really did not appreciate was the speed with which the courses were being served. We were served all five courses in 30 minutes! And the place was not even full! We really hope to have a better experience when we go back to dine outdoors as the setting is spectacular."

  • "valentines dinner reservations were made late, but still several days in advance. they put us at a bar booth that was too large to get cozy. but all bad things were overshadowed by the great service, (except the clueless host who sat us), excellent food, and over the top ambiance. i would highly recommend this restaurant and go again. Just don't make a special request and expect them to keep it quite from your date!"

  • "My husband and I made a reservation for Glass Bar and Bistro at Ledges hotel for Valentines day and we both enjoyed the amazing food, beautiful candlelight and acoustic live music in the lounge. It was so cozy and the food was exquisite. They had some very unique craft beer and a great selection of wine that paired perfectly with the menu. Will def reccommend to friends and will def be back for more!"

  • "Beautiful restaurant and ambience. I went for dinner on Valentine's Day and was very satisfied with my experience. I love how creative all of the dishes are. My one complaint would be that the drinks are way too expensive. Stick with water !"

  • "The food was very different, but tasted so good. Deviled eggs with trout, and the pork raised belly was great. The staff was very friendly."

  • "We have been here many times and this night had unusually large tables that were very loud. The good news was that the manager happily moved us to another room that was more comfortable. The service was a little slow but we enjoyed sitting and talking with friends all night. Still one of our favorite places."

  • "Thought the food was amazing. Our table was near the door so was a little cold. Close proximity to other tables. Service was great! Would definitely eat there again."

  • "We came to Glass on a bit of a whim, and came out impressed. Most notable is the view, which for us visiting in late December meant frozen falls lit up at night, which were a sight to see. We ordered a few selections from the small plates. The french onion soup, served in individual spoon portions, was a great idea, though a bit salty. The mac and cheese was very well executed, with wonderful cheese flavor and firm pasta. The cheese plate boasted generous portions, and the cuban sandwich was solid. We found the wine list to be very well priced as well. We would definitely return."

  • "Dined on 12/18 we had originally made the reservation for 8 and ended with 5. Since we are in the industry and it was our xmas party we ordered one of everything on the menu. Everything was good but the veal cheek dish stood out above all. In the word of one of the servers "if you enjoy something, try the baby version", that will go down in kitchen lingo history. Would go back in a heartbeat, we all enjoyed it and well worth the one hour drive for us!!"

  • "We loved the 'small-plate' concept menu. Perfect opportunity to sample a delicious variety of food, without feeling that we over-indulged. The waitress was so helpful to us when ordering, and provided excellent service. We ordered the Crab Dip and baguette; tender greens salad with goat cheese, beets, & nuts dressed with balsamic vinaigrette; Cuban sliders; and Mac 'n Cheese. Each course was perfectly timed, and was soo delicious! We were very full and satisfied with our meal, even taking a dessert of chocolate truffles to go! The entire meal was enhanced by the terrific acoustic guitarist performing in the adjacent bar area. It was the perfect alternative to a traditional dining experience - you won't leave disappointed or hungry!"

  • "We went to the Glass Bar looking for great food and we found it. The portions were great size for sharing or eating alone and the prices can't be beat. We had a great wine recommendation and the service was outstanding (Laura was fantastic!) The pears an bleu cheese and build you're own Mac and cheese were out if this world. Can't wait to go back!"

  • "Booked dinner here last minute. We kept thinking that we would still be hungry after eating from the "small plate" menu, boy were we wrong. Everything was exceptionally delicious and the service is amazing. You absolutely must try the French onion soup bites. My husband and I ordered a few plates each and shared everything. I honestly would have been fine just sharing the mac and cheese and french onion soup bites. I was SO full by the end of the meal that I was ecstatic that we chose to sit in the bar area where there are couches, I stretched out and enjoyed my drink while settling my stomach. Honestly, you cannot go wrong with any of the food here. Awesome atmosphere as well."

  • "Made reservations for our anniversary. They remembered. We were greeted with a "happy anniversary", seating request was honored and complimentary sparkling wine immediately brought to us by our server who also wished us a happy anniversary. That's a class act right there. The food was amazing, and for "small plates"- I was shocked at the size. I am from Philly and when restaurants there say small plates- you leave hungry. Not here! The service was impeccable, professional yet not pretentious. We moved over to the bar area, had a drink and listened to a live acoustic duo. It was an amazing evening. I have been coming to the poconos since I was born, and we rarely ventured out. Since I have been married- we go out more. This is a MUST!!!!"
