My husband and I had a romantic dinner together, but we would also bring our kids here. The service was attentive, but not too much so, and our food was delicious! Bronzino which she loved (I had some too - it was delicious). We shared the mussels scampi appetizer which was also very good. But the best was dessert - we couldn't decide between the zabaglione and the pecan pie with ice cream so the owner surprised us with both. Fantastic! We have eaten out many times over the last few years (as the kids have gotten older) but have just recently found Open Table. We have been doing a restaurant week tour and Giulio's tops the list. The menu featured a good selection of First and Second Course items, most places offer about half as many options. Service, Food, Facility and Ownership seem to be on track at Giulio's3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMA Girls Night OutWent for a girls' night out with 3 other women. It was Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, so we opted for that menu. It was limited, but good basic Italian fare. Appetizers included calamari, a flat bread pizza, and different salads, including caesar and a beet salad. We had the pizza and the two salads mentioned above. All very good. Dinner options included 2 pasta dishes, tilapia francese, a steak option and chicken scarpariello. The tilapia, chicken, and rigatoni bolognese were all delicious. Dessert was less than impressive -- a chocolate cake or bread pudding. Service was very attentive. They did not rush us and understood that we would be there for a while just chatting.
