It was noisy and busy during the Friday fish fry but we didn't mind. Summer is a great time to enjoy the golf course view, can't see it now because snow is piled too high!"

Regular price of $10.95 not too bad either, although drinks extra and an additional $1.00 for omelet and additional $3.00 for eggs benedict plus add on tip for server. Loved the addition of the bowl of gummy bears for dessert and the fact that the bacon was crisp. Overall we were satisfied. The only negative is having to walk back out of seating area to hallway to where food is set up so it would be a hassle if you were disabled or in a wheelchair, just FYI. But all in all it is good atmosphere."

Charging extra for both an omelet and eggs benedict was a surprise since all the other brunches we have gone to have never charged extra for these items. Our waiter never came back to fill our water glasses or ask if we needed anything else. He did remove our dishes when we were finished, just seemed like he was in a rush to have us leave even though there were few people at the brunch."

  • "I had read the great reviews online and because Girvan Grill is close to my house, I was hoping for a new local gem. We went there for Sunday brunch and we're completely disappointed. I don't know what the other people were eating, to give such good reviews, but their brunch food was terrible. The limited options of food looked like they had been sitting out way too long and the amount of salt in the food was overwhelming. The layout from where you're seated to where the buffet is located is poor to say the least. Anyone with mobility issues should avoid. Unfortunately, I will not be back and would advised anyone else to find another option."

  • "This was our 1st time at this restaurant. I ordered the prime rib special. The meat was the right doneness, could have been a little more flavor in the beef. The broccoli was perfect - cooked & seasoned. The Scalloped potatoes were just plain. Just cooked potato slices with cream poured in it. No flavor. My husband had the 1/2 roasted chicken and it was a little dry, also he did not like the glaze on the chicken, but that might be taste. Mashed potatoes were ok. They got busy and the service got a lot slower, needed more waite staff. May or may not go back."

Food was on the upper side of average The portion sizes were sufficient; not too much, not too little. Desserts were slightly better than the entrees in terms of overall quality/taste/etc. House parmesan chips were good. Booth seating was cramped for a 6'2" patron and I had to unfold myself after the meal - which was disappointing for those desiring a more private/secluded dining experience. Initially, noise level was louder than expected for a restaurant located on a PGA golf course. Unfortunately, we also had some noisy patrons behind us, but I'm excluding them from the rating as the establishment can't control its clientele directly."

  • "The building is beautiful it looks like a castle when you drive up. The inside is just as pretty. We went the day after Xmas so it was pretty quiet. We order the special for 2 an appetizer ,entree and dessert for $25. There were 5 of us in the group. The appetizers were amazing. The 7 layer chocolate cake was also good. The main course was okay but did not Compare to the appetizers or dessert. The presentation of the food was very pretty. The service was excellent . The wine was good. I would try it again."
