  • "Food is delicious, waitstaff always courteus, pleasant, prompt. Always an enjoyable evening. Only thing I would say needs an adjustment is the lighting, a little too dark. Otherwise, enjoyable! "

  • "It's dark and comfortable and delicious. How lucky we are to live close by. We fall back on this restaurant a couple of times a week and it's always delicious."

  • "We were fortunate to get a same day reservation when our first restaurant choices were unavailable. Lucky for the four of us. We got immediate seating in a decent size booth along the left wall ( they are larger than the others ) and had a charming waitress from Romania. Cocktails were of good size and were served promptly. Special veal and fish dishes were extremely good and reasonably priced. Only complaint is that the restaurant temperature was somewhat warm ( the same complaint we, and others, have experienced on previous visits )."

  • "Dined at Giovanni's many times. Food is always good, especially the veal dishes. Service at times could be better, but most of the time it's great. This past time we were there the waiter wasn't good, but we'll attribute that to his being new."

  • "We enjoyed this small, bt Naples standards, local Italian restaurant. They had many booths with privacy and quietness. The food veal was very good and the prices reasonable. We would return."

  • "Food and service was excellent. made reservations on line. Very user friendly"

  • "We had reservations through Opentable. We arrived on time and were given the "line of Fire" seat. It was a booth by the entry door there were plenty of tables open and plenty of booths open but they chose to seat us in the "Line of Fire" seat. We declined the seat and asked for another booth which they did give us. They did not seat anyone else at the "Line of Fire" seat until the entire restaurant was fully. WHy did they decide to give us the "Line of FIre" seat and no one else? I guess I have to specify no line of fire seat for us. The food was very god and the service was nice."

  • "Great food and service but need to remove a few tables. Tables are too close."

  • "Very ordinary Italian food. Sauce tastes like it came out of a can, same used on all entres. There is an outstanding Italian restaurant about a mile away that prepares fresh tasting sauces."

  • "Ordered special of the night and it was swordfish. Very thin piece and assort veggie were soggy. Asked for risotto instead of pasta side and it was hard and dry. Seemed like it was day old and they microwaved with butter to try to bring it out. Cesar side salad was 1.99 extra and it was loaded with a creamy dressing- more like a jar dressing and not fresh made. Had to ask server three times for rolls and they finally came at end of our meal. Won't go back."

  • "While the location may be suspect (it's in a strip mall a couple of doors down from a Publix grocery store) it's a favorite place for many of the locals. I had the Gamberoni Al Pomodoro (shrimp in a white wine sauce over linguini) and it was excellent. It's very casual, has an intimate bar, and a back room that will accomodate groups of 8 or 10 comfortably."

  • "We were seated immediately. Server was very good. Food was very good. My only complaint was it was way too dark. We had to use flashlight on our phones to read the menu."
    Dined on 3/12/2014
  • "We waited quite some time for our meal. A little slow on the service. The salad could be more interesting, but the main dishes and appetizer were very tasty."

  • "We had dinner at Giovanni on Friday 3/14 on a recommendation from a friend. I have never felt so rushed or made to feel so uncomfortable at a restaurant in my life. From the minute we sat down the waiter was fast and not friendly at all. Don't go if you want a nice relaxing dinner with friends."

  • "Food is so good here. Love the thin crust pizza. If you like a different kind of pizza try the big brother. Friendly staff & cozy interior."

  • "The food is fantastic, just don't get put in the back room. We were there with family and two large groups were seated inthe same area. We couldn't hear ourselves think let alone speaking to one another. We ate quickly and got out. Sit out front, it's much more enjoyable."

  • "The meals provided were very good for the amount charged. On a busy night, you may be seated for a while before your waiter gets to you but once he does the service is good and attentive. And we noticed that on a busy evening they honor their reservations promptly and hold reserved tables."

  • "In a party of 4, one order was incorrect and the rest of us were almost done when it was delivered. We asked for parmesan....again, we were almost done when it arrived. I asked if I could substitute something for the side of pasta....waiter said yes....I asked for what.....he listed vegetables, which I selected one. When our check arrived, I was charged an additional $3.99 for the vegetable. Overall, it was not a restaurant I would return to."

  • "...ordered sole in a white wine sauce with linguine. When it was hot the fishy flavor wasn't so noticeable, but as the dish cooled, the fishy taste became more apparent and I couldn't finish the fish. Nothing was done when I relayed the issue. Other courses were good and the others who ordered pasta dishes with red sauce were much happier."

  • "We were staying in Bonita Springs and this restaurant was recommended by a friend who had dined there before. We wanted a nice place for a Valentines's dinner; this place filled the bill. The ambiance is very nice with white table clothes and fresh flowers on the tables. Everyone in our party loved their food and we took leftovers home as the portions were ample. The restaurant is located in a "strip mall" in north Naples, but was easy to find. A great dinner out!"

  • "The place was crowded and the wait staff seemed almost out-of-control rushed. Our fried calamari appetizer was greasy but otherwise tasteless. As my husband said, "clearly frozen." The salads were an embarrassment: handfuls of lettuce just thrown on the plates, with 2 tiny cherry tomoatoes. My husband's veal marsala was drowning in grey gravy, and he had to search for the veal, there was so little of it. I had a grilled veal chop that was actually very good, but it was served on a plate with wilted lettuce and some unattractive steamed vegetables. Our guest had ordered a side of mixed vegetables. Halfway through the meal, they still hadn't come out, and when they finally did they were still cold inside, again obviously from frozen."

  • "My wife and I like the décor, convenience, and cuisine. Marie, our server, was outstanding. And we like the fact that if we eat early there is no problem being seated."
