Giorgio's Ristorante - South OrangeGreat celebratory dinnerI recently had a small dinner for my daughter's graduation. The food was wonderful as always. What really impressed me was later that night I got a call saying that although the gratuity had been added, we tipped on top of the whole bill, tipping twice. They took off the second tip. Though I've always had great experiences with the owner here, I was really impressed with the honesty of the staff. We were a party of 8 and everyone raved about their meal. Just be aware that this is a BYOB establishment, but they will gladly open your bottle of wine and pour it for you.

We weren't rushed and we were all able to have a nice dinner along with being able to have energetic conversation. I thank you for making my daughter's day a special one. The only small complaint was that there did not seem to be enough staff so getting refills on drinks and needing to speak with our waitress took quite a bit longer than was expected.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother superb meal!! New Year's plans changed at the last minute & they were able to fit in a group of 8 with only a few hours notice. An extremely reasonable prix-fixe menu with a ton of excellent choices in place, too many to chose! Appetizers included shrimp cocktail, sicilian salad, fresh mozz.w/roasted peppers, etc... Main courses included beautifully cooked Rib-eye steak, stuffed veal chop, & many seafood specials. We ordered one of everything in the desserts (couldn't decide) then we all shared! YUM!
Service was extremely attentive & we were never rushed - enjoyed great food & ambiance. The fact that this is a BYO restaurant just added to how wonderful the evening was. We will be back now that we know how great this place is!12/31/2012 12:00:00 AM
