Giorgio's of GramercySimple, fresh and delicious!Giorgio's description claims to use "only the freshest ingredients bought locally", a claim that every restaurant tries to make today. However, in this case it appears to be delightfully true!! We really enjoyed the ability to taste the "food" itself versus digging through a sauce used to hide sub quality ingredients. The service was very attentive and the food was delicious. Between us, we ordered the sea scallops, burger, seared salmon, duck and chicken dishes and everyone loved their meal. Still a bit noisy, however, but it WAS a Saturday night, and got very crowded during our stay.
Pricier than before, but well worth it!

It was really loud and on the small side but the food was very very good. It's the kind of food that everyone is familiar with but the ingredients we excellent and the execution was well done. There's nothing super different here but if you're looking for solid american fare and somewhere nice to take someone who's not so open minded with their food--this is a good choice. The service was really flawless. Their host was extraordinarily accommodating and ran a very smooth operation on the floor. Our server was pretty good too. We ordered the mozzarella as an appetizer and the veal milanese and the spicy tuna as entrees - delicious! I would have given the food a higher score if our dessert were better. We ordered the apple tart, which was warm (not hot) and was just ok (not bad, but not great). The restaurant was having a private party at the bar, so it was pretty crowded and busy, but it did not affect the service.
