"We had fantastic night at Gilt. The blue cheese fondue & marinated beets salad were both a hit. I recommend the Vodka Smash cocktail for a refreshing drink. I would definitely go back with friends. Gilt is trendy but not pretentious and is perfect for a romantic evening as well as for big groups. The service was outstanding."

"Food was exciting, but the restaurant seems under-staffed. We had long waits throughout the meal. Our server never introduced herself or even checked if we wanted dessert before throwing menus at us. This is not the service you expect when you spend $150 for two people."

"Food & service were fantastic. The best pasta I've had in the City - and we've been to a lot of Italian places. They do regular type items, but with a twist that takes them to a whole new level and then they do items that aren't commonly found....bone marrow - so good!!! Was a bit loud & it is dark, so not the ideal place to take older parents, but the the food & the service made up for it with mom. Will definitely be back! A place to go with a group or a fun date night out."

"This is my second time at Gilt Bar, and I had to order the truffle pasta again. Our waiter acted like he could care less that we were there, and he was waiting our table. It was like he was too cool for us. It will probably be the last time I go back because of it."

"The best part of the night was the fact that we were not rushed. I just hate how some servers make you feel rushed to order right away. The menu had a great assortment of choices. The deserts were fantastic and in huge portions."
