Was concerned that because of a saturday night, in the summer, on wall street, the overall experience may be lacking because of the "off peak" time. It was a very pleasant experience, the service was right on, the meal was very well prepared and presented and they ambiance was very quiet and romantic.
We get to NY about once every six weeks, sometimes finding a good restaurant may not be as easy as you would think. This restaurant is a keeper and will be recommended to friends and business associates as a must visit.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMA perfect all rounderWe found this restaurant by chance for a business dinner and of all the business dinners we had this week Giardino D'Oro stood out as being remarkable. The service was exceptional and the waiter was very knowledgeable about how the food was sourced and prepared as well as about the menu overall. The ambiance was great and the low sound levels make conversation and discussion easy. I was very happy with the food the first time and they did not disappoint me this time. The homemade pasta dish was excellent. The tomato cream sauce was great. I had the veal saltimbocca and it was excellent. The veal was tender and tasty. The service was excellent' I had dinner about 5:30 and the restaurant was not crowded. By the time I was finished eating, the crowds were picking up.
