  • "We have been to the restaurant several times & have always enjoyed it! This time it did not live up to its reputation. We are always a large group when we dine out and therefore I cannot blame the size of our party. The brunch they offer is usually excellent, but this time our waiter seemed to forget about us. Drinks were ordered & did not arrive until a reminder was given. Personalized Omelets were ordered early on, but were not served until we were about to leave. Also, some of the items on the menu did not come at all, but pancakes a& French toast were dropped off more than once. The omelet station is no longer available and the selection is more limited. Sad that it my mother's 85th Birthday wasn't as special as it could have been."

  • "Unfortunately there were two private parties and there was a full dining room. The noise was unreal and the service was very poor. Not because the wait staff didn't try there just was not enough to cover everyone. They were just over worked and could not be in two places at once. It was difficult to get the attention of the waiter because he was so busy."

  • "It's been about six month's since we were here for Sunday Brunch. What a let down! According to the wait-staff they began economizing the menu about three months ago; getting rid of the buffet spread (Shrimp), cheeses and other items. Cut back on yogurt and are reticent on putting out the other goodies in a timely manner. The wait-staff were also cut back and are overtaxed in serving the additional tables. The bus-boys have to do double duty in supporting the waiters. Management was not too interested in addressing any of these issues and seemed to have an attitude that we even raised them. What a shame. Used to be a great feed. They should also change the menu on their web-site to reflect the actual food being currently served."

  • "Eating at Giardino's on 2/14/14 - Valentines night - was a horrible experience. First although I had reservations, I had to wait in the hallway for 10-15 minutes to be seated. Then they put me in a room with a family of about 15 noisy children. The food was awful. The pri fixe menu had a limited selection and cost $49.00 per person. I ordered salmon and my meal consisted of one-half (1/2) slice of salmon covered with overcooked breaded vegetables. Half-slice-salmon for $49.00 How awful!!!"

  • "Well done. We were sat before our reservation time. Service was very good. I had the best shell steak I can remember ever having and the restaurant had a pleasant valentines day feel. Only minor compliant was being sat close to the musicians speaker which made it tough for us to talk during the night. Great job overall though!"

  • "I dined here with a group of 4 for my mom's birthday brunch. To begin with, the restaurant itself is beautiful. Brunch consists of a small buffet (lox, bagels, cold salad, brick oven pizza, pastries), omelettes, and unlimited small plates served at the table similar to tapas (sausage, bacon, mussels marinara, rigatoni, meatballs, etc) plus a complimentary drink. The pizza on the buffet was cold but still tasty. The small plate of banana stuffed French toast was one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life! Service was outstanding. An excellent value for your money!"

  • "I will give this restaurant one more try. The food was ok but it seemed like there was only 1 waiter & 1 bus boy working for New Years Day. Bread came to the table promptly but it was ice cold. The hot appetizers: stuffed clams and eggplant rollatini were lukewarm. I did inform the waiter that I like my main course steaming hot and he did bring it to the table that way, so that was much appreciated. The cheese ravioli's were good, but just basic. The shrimp dish was fair. The chicken rolatini was interesting. The one negative, previous diner drew a happy face on the table cloth. When this was brought to matri' d's attention, she said it was ok, the table cloth was clean. Sorry, no, it should have been changed."

  • "Overall generally good but somewhat disappointing given the Diners Choice award. Red sauce was a bit heavy. Don't ask them to spice the sauce a little......cane out so spicy it was inedible unless you removed the sauce by moving the food to another plate"

  • "Traveling into the city for a show, Giardinos close to LIRR. We had the most delicious hot/cold antipasti With seafood and the special spaghetti with pancetta Dressed with tomatoes and white wine in a light sauce. A dollop Of burrata topped the fish. For two people it was more Than enough. The waiters were very attentive, and they made sure our dining Experience was pleasurable . Definitely will go there again,"

  • "Went for brunch for my mothers birthday. The menu was anywhere from specialty omelets to brick oven pizzas and chicken ptarmigan. The food was excellent! Must try the banana stuffed French toast and the nice selection of brick oven pizzas. It was nice that you can just keep trying everything on the menu. The service was great as well."

  • "Restaurant could not give reservation at desired time, so we made reservation for first available time slot available (15 minutes later). Qw were surprized to learn that there were several empty tables and no apparent treason why we could not have been accomodated when we wanted to be. Maitre d' recited specials nicely, but was visibly upset when we asked him to either repeat something or explain how a dish was prepared. Food was OK as to quantity and quality."
