"With a quiet atmosphere, this place has an older feel to it. Though it lacks an updated drink menu and could use a beer makeover (the selection is anemic), the food is wonderfully rustic, highlighting specials too often neglected by more "mainstream" establishments (the goat stew and rabbit dishes being two such gems). If one is looking for a romantic spot, where the service is attentive but not overbearing, the air is tinged with a hint of Sinatra not smothered in it, the crowd smaller and private, the seating intimate, and the food made with care, this is it. Basic, quality Italian."

"Tried some really good and different items.
Had the goat which was special for Easter.
It was quite good and so tasty. One of my friends
had the rabbit and said it was really good.
We all shared the hot antipasta and had some
great varieties. (shrimp scampi,stuffed pepper,
baked clams)"

"We were seated promptly. The serving staff was very attentive, but not too hovering. The food was excellent. The ambiance included the regular Saturday night Karaoke singers who were mostly very good, and a nice selection of songs that made for a romantic evening."

"I had the pleasure of meetinG the chef Tony. He is an old school authentic
Cook with a flair to delight your palate. Tony suggested many wonderful dishes.
They all sounded so good we couldn't decide. With that he said I surprise
you. First he made a couple of appertisers one being stuffed peppers
another being baked clams oraganota. They were superb. Tony then proceeded to
bring out a plate of mussels. I can't remember the name but they were the most
incredible mussels I eve tasted. They come out not hot but cooked then have
a sauce that has a wonderful kick. You must order them and explain what you want.
The dinner was a combo of chicken beef and a good sized lamb chop. It had peppers
onions and potatoes. What a great meal"

"I dont need dinner after this great lunch.
stuffed peppers to die for. also
the clams oregenata were superb. great dipping sauce.
had the vael parm. it was so lean and great sauce.
my friend had the filet of sole and he said it was great."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. The food was delicious. Very nice and cozy decor. Joann who is the manager and greeter has a wonderful personality and made special accommodations for us because we had an elderly uncle with us. Very close to the Meadowlands. Not far off the NJ Turnpike. That is why I initially choose to eat here. The next time I will eat here because of the food and menu."
