A word from Giada - The Cromwell
Italian food lovers can rejoice: Emmy-Award winning celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis has opened her first-ever restaurant, GIADA inside The Cromwell.
This charming Las Vegas restaurant welcomes diners with warm colors, comfortable furniture and natural lighting thanks to the restaurant’s huge retractable windows. Guests can eat in the dining room, lounge or on the outdoor patio, boasting breathtaking views of the Bellagio fountains and Caesars Palace.
The menu will consist of Italian cuisine with refreshing, Californian influences. Menu items include lemon spaghetti, chicken cacciatore, marsala herb chicken meatballs, rosemary focaccia and lemon flatbread and vegetable Bolognese rigatoni. GIADA adds a lighter touch to Italian dishes, all while staying true to classic Italian recipes.
There will also be family-style options, along with a vegan and gluten-free menu. Desserts, like the lemon ricotta cookies and sorbets, serve as the perfect ending.

Giada DeLaurentis did a great job with the staff and menu at "Giada's" Try to book a window table where you will be able to watch the Bellagio Water Fountain show. Try the pizzette for an appetizer, you won't go wrong with the Margaurita Pizzette or if you like mushrooms, the Roasted Mushroom with gorgonzola cheese is excellent. '

Went to Giada's when it first opened for dinner and it was amazing. Ambiance, food, service all excellent Was excited to go back for lunch and bring friends. The menu was different and they were out of 3 of the 4 items I had chosen. Was craving pasta and there was none on the menu for lunch except the baked dish they were out of. Settled for the lobster roll which was just mediocre. Couldn't wait for the bread basket and it is different at lunch and got 4 tiny pieces of bread for 4 people. Dessert was good but based on the lunch experience I wouldn't go back.

Food was nothing special to write home about and certainly not worth the money. 2 hours for a midweek lunch? That is the definition of slow service. All it is, it is a place where one can go and say that they've dined at Giada's in Las Vegas. I've had better service at Appleby's. Not the servers fault necessarily (although Thierry's attitude was not acceptable), the place is woefully understaffed.

I LOVED the food. Exactly what I would expect from Giada--such fragrant, beautiful food. Italian with a definite California influence...fresh and delicious. The service, however, was such a disappointment. Hostesses were young with an attitude and our waiter was more interested chatting behind his stand than anything with our table. Thank goodness for his precious "backup" helper, an attentive, knowledgeable and apologetic girl from California. (Hoping someone can know who this was--she deserves his spot!) The only reason we over tipped was bc of her and made sure that it was, at least, shared with her before leaving. If food is what matters to you, it was worth the experience.

Had great seats on the terrace looking out on the Vegas strip. Food excellent. I would have rated it 5 stars for service, but we had to ask the waiter to remove the "empty" bread board etc, which sat at the edge of our 2 top table forever, even after we were served our entrée..other than that, all was great!!!

I took my 5 out of town girlfriends to lunch to check out the new Giada restaurant at The Cromwell... and requested a 1 pm lunch reservation; they only 12:45 pm available which was OK; they called to confirm the time and put me on hold for over 15 min. When I arrived at the restaurant for our 12:45 time slot, they stated they were running late and it would be more like 1 pm, which was we wanted in the first place. I requested the outdoor patio in advance, and they said it would be a longer wait for the patio. The food was just OK... and no bread was offered to us ... we just had our salads, etc. and they were a bit on the small side too. Overall, don't know if I'd go back.

This is probably as kid friendly as it gets in upscale Vegas dining. Food is not too fancy that kids wouldn't eat it. Area is very open and spacious, so strollers and high chairs would not be a issue. Awesome views but the shades are down most of the time during the day because of the sun. I think dinner would be amazing.

We were seated exactly at our reservation time, then waited exactly 32 minutes to get water and a menu. 7 more minutes to get the comp bread. All the while, watching table after table fill up with food. Just a bad first experience. The Lasagna was very runny. The strawberry waffle was great. The arugula salad was a few leaves, two pieces of parm and maybe a drop of dressing.

The service at this restaraunt felt completely uncoordinated, aloof, and ultimately betrayed the calibre of the food. We were seated after a very long wait, so maybe the restaraunt was just busy/good? Once seated we didn't see a waitress for 15mins. No offer of a wine list or anything. We got our own menus and wine list by getting up and taking them from the pile ourselves. Waitress struggled w food and wine descriptions and suggestions and there were more, substantial, delays. At one point suggested that we order food first - even though we had decided on wine?? Food came out all at the same time and could not fit at our table. Had to send a few courses back to wait. Didn't realize how important service is until we visited this restaraunt!

We love Giada's FoodTv shows and recipes and booked our reservation 90+ days ahead as soon as we heard she opened a restaurant. The setting, food and service were all fabulous. We did the tasting menu which had so many just delucious items and included some recipes too! The only thing that could have made our experience even better was if Giada was on site. Our waiter Rocco was very attentive and provided great service. We will definately go back the next time we are in Las Vegas

I went with a party of six on a reservation we had set up a month prior. When we arrived, we had to wait a few minutes for the table, but that was fine as it gave us time to have fun with Giada's photo booth. They then seated us at a table close to the window overlooking LV Blvd. We were promptly greeted by our waiter who provided us with recommendations of appetizers and wines. All of the recommendations were superb. The bacon-wrapped dates were one of the best appetizers I have ever had. For dinner, I had the Bucatini. It was delicious! I paired it with the Sweet Corn and spicy sausage side and was not disappointed. As I was pretty full after this, I skipped on dessert which means I will just have to go back again to try one of them.

We got our food before our drinks then the order was wrong and it took a long time to correct it. We had to ask for bread. Also the window was open and it was very noisy. The food was good and we really felt it was high end but there are some delivery issues to be worked out.

I had heard that Giada in Las Vegas was THE place to dine, so made a reservation for two couples three months in advance. Either that did the trick or we were lucky, as we got one of the best seats in the house, a booth overlooking the strip. Fantastic. Oh, and yes, then there's the food and the service. All superb. I could have used a bit larger portion of arugula salad with my lobster roll, but other that, cuisine and service just excellent, which for me means not stuffy, just very pleasant and low key. I think you can go ahead and go alone, too, just sit at the bar, which seemed really lively.

I am a huge Food Network fan, so deciding to eat here was a no-brainer. I was in Las Vegas to celebrate my birthday and 8 of us had lunch. Everyone enjoyed their meal greatly, which is hard to do with so many different tastes. The service was fantastic. The photo booth in the lobby was a fun touch. We got lots of cute pictures to commemorate the event. I would highly recommend Giada to anyone!

Walking into the Cromwell, I was shocked by the transformation. It used to be Bill's Casino. Giada's is upstairs, on the corner, with windows open to the Strip. The restaurant is gorgeous, mostly decorated in white, with beautiful fixtures, and comfortable chairs. The place was absolutely packed, so service was a tad bit slow. The wine list is long and we enjoyed a Pinot Grigio recommendation from our waiter. The bread service was different, served with butter, salt, and a couple of different spreads. We shared the calamari appetizer and I would not recommend it. It was tough and not very flavorful. The highlight of the evening came with the main courses. I got the lobster ravioli and my husband had the spaghetti with shrimp. Simply divine!

For my birthday, I wanted nothing more than to eat at one of my favorite Celebrity chefs restaurants. We had a 6:00 pm reservation and was 10 minutes late and was met with 3 young ladies with an attitude I did not appreciate. Then, they made us wait 30 minutes for our table...I guess they showed us. Once seated, we met by Casye who was cold and forgot to smile. She told us a disertation about the small plates/appetizers but when my friend ask a question about how many people the mozzerella would feed, she was very curt and said "do I need to go over what I already said?' The guys in our party got the filet. It was very dry my husband had 3 bites. When the guy removed his plate, he didnt even ask if anything was wrong. Very disappointed

The restaurant is very cool and location is great. But, we made a 9:30pm reservation and still had to wait 30mins to get seated. The server was over the top with every explanation and helpful hint. Just unnecessary. The food was definitely good expect for the broccoli robbie. In fairness it was combination of factors. We had bigger group that all got in from traveling all day, so everyone was a bit tired and if we had a different server that would have changed things tremendously. I would definitely like to try it again, because I think it has real potential.

Waiter "pushed"food telling U.S. things weren't very big portions. 4. Side of asparagus didn't come out. 4b. When pionted out, asparagus came right out and was Luke warm. Likely sitting out the whole time. 5. An extra drink was on our bill. 6. Waiter kept apologizing, very awkward. Good was good, not great and definitely not worth the horrible service.
