A word from Giada - The Cromwell
Italian food lovers can rejoice: Emmy-Award winning celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis has opened her first-ever restaurant, GIADA inside The Cromwell.
This charming Las Vegas restaurant welcomes diners with warm colors, comfortable furniture and natural lighting thanks to the restaurant’s huge retractable windows. Guests can eat in the dining room, lounge or on the outdoor patio, boasting breathtaking views of the Bellagio fountains and Caesars Palace.
The menu will consist of Italian cuisine with refreshing, Californian influences. Menu items include lemon spaghetti, chicken cacciatore, marsala herb chicken meatballs, rosemary focaccia and lemon flatbread and vegetable Bolognese rigatoni. GIADA adds a lighter touch to Italian dishes, all while staying true to classic Italian recipes.
There will also be family-style options, along with a vegan and gluten-free menu. Desserts, like the lemon ricotta cookies and sorbets, serve as the perfect ending.

  • Desserts were the best part...

My experience at Giada's was okay. I had the tasting menu with a friend, and we were able to try everything on the tasting menu. The meals looked amazing, but the pasta was way over cooked and the salmon was dried out. We were also seated 30 minutes late and we were there for 3 hours (9:30pm-12:20am)! It was a bit disappointing. The dessert cart was the best part of the experience! On a side note... If you have food allergies tell them upfront and remind them. They didn't ask and even though we told them no nuts, they didn't tell us until after that there were nuts in a couple dishes. I live in Las Vegas and there are so many places to choose for a dining experience. This was my least favorite so far.

Just like the lady herself, Giada's is truly an elegant dining experience set in a sophisticated casual setting. Giada's is, in fact, an expensive restaurant, but that being said, it is truly worth the cost. The food is exquisite, the service is impeccable, and the ambience is pure Giada. Giada's motto I the restaurant is "a little of everything, but not a lot of anything" and it fits perfectly. Each course is presented beautifully and is sufficient without bring too much. You leave totally satisfied without feeling like you have over indulged (which would be easy to do given the food choices here). So, while in Vegas, when you are ready for that special dining experience, be sure to stop in at Giada's.

My friend and I went to Giada's for the first time last weekend and had a fun experience. The photo booth in the lounge was entertaining and the ambiance was very posh and fresh. However, the service was very slow (lunch took a little under two hours) and the server didn't provide us with suggestions or check back with us after we had received our food. Overall it was fun and I'd return.

It's so "her". Beautiful . . . you felt special just walking in and going to your table. We're still trying to figure out the bread served with the pesto. Delish. Photo booth?? Nice touch. You nailed it Giada!!! Everything that came to the table we would just look across at each other and know it was going to be special. Don't skip dessert. Four flavors of gelato for him and the Espresso Nocciolato for me. Squisito!! Thanks for a great afternoon with my fella!!

The Waiter was rude. He asked for our drink order before we had menus and snapped at me when I interrupted him. The waiter never came back to see if all was ok. The coffee overpriced at $6. Giada's Grill Cheese was excellent but the frittata was bland no flavor. The champagne glass was half full and overpriced for lunch/brunch. Dinner or party maybe you can charge this price but fill the glass full. Wine half-glass is ok and expected but not champagne. Décor nice but not for the prices.

My wife really wanted to try this place, since she had followed the chef on TV. We had to get reservations way in advance. It was defininetly an "in-place" to be, very Vegas. The food was very expensive, and portions very small. The people was probably the best part.

I think one should think about having many small tastes when they come to this amazing find on the Las Vegas Strip at the Cromwell. Giada is one of our favorite chefs on television and certainly her restaurant met nearly all expectations. Was disappointed that no GLUTEN free bread option exists but most other areas of the menu have gluten free options. Great job to all the staff!!

I was at Giada's for lunch. I had one of the Panini, which was good. But the best part was the bread and pesto sauce they give you when you sit down. The little bread had great flavor, and combined with the pesto it was divine! I would definitely go back for lunch or dinner next time I am in Las Vegas.

It's located in the new Cromwell boutique hotel. A perfect place for Giada. I arrived early and asked to sit at the bar for a drink. I ordered a peach Bellini and a Fortunella 1958, both delicious. Bar tab $23. Loved the lounge area! It is the mirror to the whole environment. The ambience is comfortable and the decor chic. I did wait a little longer for my table even with the reservation. I ordered wild mushroom antipasti (delicious), salmon cake egg Benedict (AMAZING), and the gelato (5 customs flavors that were fantastic). My bill totaled $53. Afterward I found the photo booth. Very fun! Very Vegas! Hats off to Giada! This is foodie heaven!

Christopher was our server, and was excellent - knowledgable and attentive. Started with a blue cheese & honey appetizer. Great flavors. Salmon cakes Benedict was wonderful. Pasta carbonara was lighter than most other restaurants-lemony and less 'bacon-y' than most others I've had. But otherwise not as much of a standout as the other flavors we had. Blended fruit juices were fresh and tasty. Overall, was a highlight of our trip.

Lunch was delicious and my favorite dish was the freshly made pesto with warm flat bread. The best part was that it was the complementary "bread" that everyone got. The flatbread was brought out warm with the perfect amount of olive oil and sea salt and the pesto was the best I've ever tasted.

Even allowing for the fact that the opening was recent, I could not excuse the fact that we were nearly ignored the entire time we were there. 20 minutes after our order, we still had not received our iced tea. We were served another table's food, and should have taken a bite of it because we had to wait forever for our very mediocre lasagna. Food was way overpriced. Our servers must have been chosen for the their looks rather than their common sense. When we tried to have our complaints remedied, our server blamed the fact that they had just added breakfast to the menu. No manager? Really?

I found that with 2 weeks notice I could get no times between 5:30 and 9:45. I concluded it would be incredible. But service in the bar was slow-to-ignored. Once seated, service was excellent. Food had flavored such as anise in the ravioli, which were not disclosed yet dominated the flavored and would not have been my choice if explained in menu or by staff. Pricing was as expected I would caution others about my experience so they were better prepared. Total food selections were not so broad, and surprisingly, did not fascinate.

We've been to Vegas many times, but never had the view that Giada provides now to all guests. The Tasting menu was an outstanding value, and provided an extremely nice selection of antipasti, pasta, entree, and dessert. It included Giada's signature dishes, and we were still able to make a substitution. The service was outstanding and we hope to return sometime in the future. It was a nice touch to receive a copy of the menu in a presentation folder as well

I was so excited to try this new restaurant on my recent visit to the Strip. Sadly Giada was a let down in every way. No yummy sights or sounds to be found here and the least yummy was the food. We couldn't even enjoy the famed view as the blinds had to be closed as the sun was too much in the patrons eyes. Inedible over-salted salad and burnt pizza aren't my idea of gourmet. Stuffed pepper antipasto was not restaurant quality and whole peppercorns in the food are tough to swallow. Plus it was very hard for my non pork eating companion to find anything to eat. The most enjoyable was the $35 corkage fee. A definite waste of time and money.

Although I gave this restaurant outstanding reviews in ambiance and food, they served us too quickly. After they brought out the breads, which were all varied and deserving of some specialized tasting time, they immediately brought out our appetizers. We specifically asked them to give us time to enjoy the appetizers, but they brought out our entrees while we were in the middle of eating the starters. We felt rushed. Since we had mentioned this to them, it was inexcusable that they ignored our request to slow down. Our whole visit was a little over 1 hour. For the price, we would have liked to savor our food a little more. I would start by telling your server that if they bring out your food too quickly, you will send it back.

The appitizer was good. The biggest disappointment was all of our entrees. Everything was EXTREMELY SALTY, the bone-in Tuscan Rib-eye was cooked well but none of us could take a second bit without gulping down a glass of water. Same is said for their pizza. The highly recommended Spaghetti with shrimp wasn’t any better, the shrimp was overcooked. Everyone took 2 bites of their food. Once we told the manager of the problem, he just gave us a nod in agreement, and all he offered to do was to give us dessert and walked away. He did not offer to remake, replace, or asked us what we wanted. We struggled through dinner only to decide that it was not even worth our time to stay and try their desserts. Bad service, horrible food. Never again.

I booked our reservation months ago. They sat us late. For a birthday they sat us at a table next to a casually dressed couple. They should have sat us at a table where we were not next to another couple as lots were vacant. I got glared at by the man when I glanced if they ordered meatballs. Olives were okay. My cocktail was okay, the one they are known for. Our servers Amber, Bart, and Mark were great. Oysters were not the best I have had. Lobster ravioli was okay. The lemon pasta with shrimp was okay. Shrimp was a bit overlooked. I like Raos better as I could have made the dish. The lemon ricotta cookies are good as well as the chestnut dessert. Giada was there. She was in her private room the whole time I was there.
