"We went to Ghost for a quick lunch with visiting colleagues. The ambiance and service were good. We arrived 15 mins early for our reservation, and they were accommodating. And we were in and out in 45 mins. However, the menu has gotten decidedly "heavy". The first few times I went to Ghost, the lunch entrees were light and flavorful and relatively healthy - a nice departure from typical pub fare. Now they've gotten very "British" ... lots of carbs and cheese and meat and cream sauces. And only one token vegetarian dish (grilled cheese, of course!). I'm hopeful that this is just the dregs of their winter menu and they'll add some vegetables and lighter sauces to their menu as we move into summer. Please distinguish yourself yet again!"

"The food not only tasted amazing, but it was quite large portions. We had mussels, pancetta wrapped shrimp, chicken, tacos, bread pudding and the cookies! Our waiter was right on top of things and extremely friendly and responsive. Not very busy, which was nice too!"

"I went to Ghost for the first night of restaurant week. We got there at 7pm and they were already out of one of their 5280 entrees. We were allowed to order anything we wanted on the menu to replace it which was nice. I ordered the beet salad appetizer and when it came to the table, I was shocked. It had four slices of beets about the size of a nickel each, and some greens sprinkled on top. For dessert, again they were out of what we ordered, so we got to choose any item. While the manager was at the table, we asked if they had also run out of beets since our plates were so small, and he said yes, but also that they were losing money on the 5280 deal and had to cut back on serving sizes. Perhaps they shouldn't have participated then..."
