GG's Waterfront Bar & Grill (fka Giorgio's Grill)Hollywood delightStarting with wonderful service from our wait person Victoria - excellent flatbread - enormous shrimp and then great entrees. The seafood dishes - saalmon, florida Grouper and the veal chop were superb - then to cap theevening great key lime pie and flowerless chcoalate cake - a must if you are staying in the area6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food and serviceGG"s has consistently excellent food and service. I have been a customer for a long time and I am never disappointed.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMGood handling of an eccentric guestGreat all around. We were on vaca, so the prices were fine. If you're on a budget don't plan on drinking a lot- nY-comparable
Our server & the manager handled our want-to-be barefoot guest very well without making a scene (we met him at the hotel, so we didn't realize keeping his shoes on would be an issue)
Food was delish - my husband got the crab cakes (all crab) and sea bass; I had the grouper. Barefoot "Sam" got the lobster. No one was disappointed. The desserts were fab - definitely go for the key lime pie
All the drinks were good but I would have liked a bit more liquor in them for $10+ each
Great view; lovely decor. Good reco from one of our hotel servers6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat spot for Sunday BrunchReservations are recommended. You won't be disappointed if you like seafood. Oysters served on the half shell, great salads, a nice warm breakfast bar, and desserts.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is a great restaurantThis is a great restaurant for a romantic diner on the inter-coastal. The food is exceptional with steak, seafood, pasta, and poultry dishes. The service is first class. Valet parking is reasonably priced. $3.005/23/2013 12:00:00 AMwhat a Gem!Oustanding from the Valet to our server!! Oh yes, the food was excellent!
If you like a more contemporary setting with a view. It's highly recommended.
They go out of their way to make your dining very pleasurable!5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMawesome!!!dinner on the water one night...indoor brunch next afternoon!!! food was amazing and service inviting...even valets handled stress with class!!(5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfectFirst time in the Hollywood area, and wish we had found this place sooner. The food was delicious, the wait staff was attentive, friendly and informative about the local area. Cocktails were excellent, wine list was perfect, desert, key lime pie( i know, tourist) was fantastic! Definitely will return to the area just to go back here. Plus, a perfect sunset on the water(yes, we ate outside) It doesn't get better than that! Especially because we weren't anticipating it.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food, prices a little high.Had a good meal here. Steak was cooked to order; fish was a little overdone, though. Very nice ambience, sitting outside by the water. Waitress was very attentive. Food is priced à la carte, consequently, it's a little steep.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat RestaurantWe are from St. Petersburg, FL and have visited this area twice. Both times we ate at GG's and it was wonderful. Service, food and outdoor dinning is excellent. Only issue is parking, they really need to fix that problem.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMTrue wavefront diningGG's is a not only on the intracoastal, the outdoor space is over it. You can sit outside and enjoy your meal while looking out over North Lake and waving at boaters as they idle by. I opted for the bouillabaisse loaded with half of a Maine Lobster, calamari, scallops, shrimp and fish. The broth was excellent for dipping the fresh baked bread. My associate had a very large, perfectly grilled piece of grouper. Our server was very attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu items. I always appreciate a restaurant that has the servers taste all of their dishes.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMThe viewThe food was delicious and view was to die for! Sat outdoors and the sunset was amazing5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMI've been twice since movingI've been twice since moving to Hollywood in April and I loved it both times. The food is wonderful, the service excellent and the restaurant is beautiful. It certainly isn’t the cheapest place on the block price-wise, but when you eat there you know where the extra cost is going. The outdoor patio is scenic and relaxing and indoors the views are also great. I had the sea bass one time and surf and turf the next (with stone crabs instead of lobster) and neither entree disappointed. For appetizers we shared the flatbread and mussels and both were equally delicious. Dessert the key lime pie is outstanding. Highly recommend GG’s.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMThe crab cake appetizer isThe crab cake appetizer is fantastic. Loved the scallops/risotto. The blackened Mahi needs seasoning, very bland. Ask to sit on the patio in back overlooking the bay.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMTerrific PlaceSat outside fronting the intercostal. Beautiful view of the sunset. Food was outstanding as was the service. Would defiantly go back our next visit.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMThis reservation was set upThis reservation was set up for executives and a business dinner. Our executives were visiting from Denver, Colorado and I was told that the restaurant was outstanding! Made comment that the food was fantastic, price was extremely reasonable and that when they are back in the area, they will definitely be back.4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMWaterside gem!One of our favorite go to spots for several years, the ceasar salad with lobster is a favorite for lunch or dinner. Pasta with clams is superb and loaded with clams. The salmon and grouper are delectable. It's nearly impossible to order wrong! Outdoor seating is beautiful at sunset and you are practically on the water. They make a good cappacinno and the key lime pie is as good as it gets. Be sure to make reservations and request outdoor dining. Check it out for private parties too.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place for a special night outEverything was great. The food, service and overall dinning experience. Would highly recommend for a special night out.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWaterside DiningWe went off hour between lunch/dinner service. Sitting along the Intracoastal Waterway was enchanting. And, there was no other table occupied during our visit. It was odd then, that it took almost 45 minutes to receive our entrees: a Grouper sandwich and Chicken Marsala with side salads. The food was very tasty and we enjoyed the relaxing view during the wait. Later, we received an email from Open table that we did not "honor" our reservation. We announced to the hostess that we had a reservation with Open Table at the time of our arrival and were ultimately compensated by Open Table. It is possible that during off hours there may have been a change in the kitchen shifts, still our server was helpful and we enjoyed it overall.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMHad dinner at GG's. was inHad dinner at GG's. was in town for a convention and te hotel restaurant could not handletheaddition of a extra person. Went to GG's, was the best dinner I have had this week.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMBrunch was excellent!! WillBrunch was excellent!! Will definitely go back and so lovely being on the intracoastal watching the boats go by!4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing place the food wasAmazing place the food was great must try the pow pow shrimp!!! The service was great very nice people working there! The outside view is to die for! Will deff go back to GG's4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and a surpriseGreat food and a surprise sunset! We went at the end of a rainy day and didn't schedule our reservation with the sunset in mind. But the skies cleared and we were treated to a glorious sunset. Dinner was fabulous - we both had the stone crab appetizer and the sea bass special - on a bed of risotto with crimini mushrooms. Dessert: key lime pie, of course. The perfect Florida dinner. Service was a bit slow - our server was delightful, but clearly was covering too many tables. Not a big deal - just gave us more time to enjoy the sunset :)4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat dining experienceDined at 6:30 on a Friday evening. The sunset view was spectacular. The waiter was attentive and jovial. The food was great. In particular, the Greek style seafood paella was one of the best seafood dishes I have had. Replacing rice with orzo pasta makes it much lighter. In addition to the scallops, mussels, and calamari, the large half Maine lobster was delicious. We will return as soon as possible.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMEaster Sunday Brunch was overwhelmiEaster Sunday Brunch was overwhelmingly bountiful-Seafood, including oysters & delicious shrimp. Carving station, plentiful entrees, sides, salads and desserts. Just wonderful. Superb wine list, too. Many thanks.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMEaster Dinner at Giorgio'sWe were pleasantly surprised. It's usually difficult finding a restaurant that can handle a holiday meal without problems (i.e. wait time, food not cooked properly, under staffed) but Giorgio's handled all aspects well. We had the Easter menu which was great and priced well. The service was outstanding. The only minor complaint was that we had to pay to park. I find this a bit unusual since most restaurants do not charge to park on their property. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food. Excellent service.Great food. Excellent service. (The kitchen was very close which made it a bit loud and difficult to talk). I would go back anytime.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing views and great food!Amazing Views! The food was good. Their Clam showder soup was to die!!! Definetly going back.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMMenu itemsThe crab claws were excellent, as was the grouper and surf and turf!3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our second time atThis was our second time at GG's. The seafood is fresh and delicious and the Espresso and Chocolate Martini's were outstanding! We will return the next time we are in Florida!3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMYou Will Not Be DissappointedFood was great. We had 4 in our party. Each person ordered a different entre. Every dish was very good.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMTruly enjoyed our dining experienceTruly enjoyed our dining experience. We arrived just in time to witness a spectacular sunset. Our dinners were both excellent, especially the fish stew that was full of seafood. I appreciated the raw bar chef's knowledge and interest as well.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat views- sit outside.Great views- sit outside. And have the key line pie3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMI wanted a romantic dinnerI wanted a romantic dinner to celebrate my friend's birthday. It was his first time visiting GG's and he loved the place. The view, food, service and atmosphere was delightful. I am looking forward to Easter Brunch there.3/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGG's works as a neighborhoodGG's works as a neighborhood restaurant that is vibrant, alive, and busy. The noise level inside is more than I care for, but the outside dining is wonderful, with heaters if you need them. The food is not fabulous, but fits within the range of restaurants in this area and the fish is cooked well--- moist not dry. The menu is pricey, but within reason. The ambiance is great for a celebration even inside.3/9/2013 12:00:00 AMBeautiful view and delicious food.Hard to beat this wonderful intercostal view that serves up terrific food.. My favorite is the lobster ceasar salad but request it sans shell! Key lime pie is killer and most anything else is delicious. Don't let the advertised bar & grill fool as they serve up so much more.. Arrive by boat or car, enjoy casual lunch or dinner though I recently saw a formal wedding party whooping it up.2/1/2013 12:00:00 AMLove the remodel! Food wasLove the remodel! Food was great and eating outside was a February treat!2/1/2013 12:00:00 AMthis place is so beautifulthis place is so beautiful and we always enjoy it.1/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWaterside dining on the intercostalPerfectly wonderful waterside setting with excellent food and service! Be sure to ask for an outside table if the weather is conducive! Try the fried calamari or fresh oysters and you can't go wrong with fresh fesh or even a dry aged steak. The desserts are also top notch. We love the easy parking but the calm outdoor setting is the best. You will really enjoy this local favorite!12/29/2012 12:00:00 AMGreat food, but service wasGreat food, but service was very slow....but food worth it11/18/2012 12:00:00 AM
