A word from Gervais & Vine
Gervais & Vine is the Vista's favorite gathering place for diners that desire the unique blend of a French cafe, Spanish bodega, and Italian cucina. Our wine bar is the ideal place to unwind after work, or gather with coworkers for lunch. We are pleased to offer a beverage menu accented with an eclectic selection of over 40 esoteric, award winning wines from around the world.

Chef Jason Holowacz creates his menu with wholesome, locally grown ingredients and lunch and dinner specials feature fresh fish, choice meats, and seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Experience a selection from our small plate menu and then make your wine selection from either a full or half glass, or by the bottle. We also feature live music on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and when the weather is welcoming, our patio is a great place to enjoy all that Gervais & Vine has to offer. We look forward to welcoming you to the Vista's favorite gathering place.

Diner Reviews
  • "Gervais and Vine used to be our go to date night restaurant. After our lady trip, we won't be returning. We waited forty minutes after placing our order for our first plate to arrive. I can bake Brie at home faster than that. Our server was in shorts and an untucked shirt. What happened to this restaurant being elegant with great service? There's a new tapas restaurant in town, and we will definitely be giving it a try."

  • "Have had lunch here several times. Great wines to pair with foods. Busier at night so slower service, but still good overall."

  • "I was a little afraid when I firstsaw the outside. I thought the food might be so so. I was pleasantly suprised by all the dishes we ordered. We will return."

  • "Love this place. Have been several times in groups from 2 to 5. Never disappointed in any small plate I've tried. It's a really good place to try new foods, too, since you can share. My favorites are the Moroccan pork, eggplant fries, Spanish meatballs, and gambas. When then buffalo pizza is on special, I would recommend that as well. Can't wait to go back again!"

  • "Great place to go before play at Trustus. The spreads are always a favorite. The blue cheese cheesecake was a different desert but surprisingly good. More of a desert cheese that sweet."

  • "I've eaten here on a number of occasions, with work colleagues during and after work (note--I wouldn't recommend a large group lunchtime event here; it's not what they're set up for), and with friends, and as a date night outing. All visits have been good-dinner with small groups has always been wonderful. As a diabetic vegetarian who can't eat salads (no lettuce, bell peppers, cucumbers, etc.), there are often slim pickings for me in Soda City restaurants. Gervais & Vine always has interesting, tasty dishes that aren't too filling. They also appear, IMHO, to have the best by the glass wine list in Columbia. I can't think if anyone else that has Madiera Port, for example. Great parking, too, especially for the Vista."

  • "Went with my boyfriend for datenight. We were able to be seated at an intimate table that added to the night. Our server was very nice and funny. She had gear suggestions on food. The menu is tapas style so small plates. We had the petite filet, goat cheese spread, asparagus, Parmesan fries, and Moroccan pork. Everything was amazing. For dessert we had the bread kidding a lá mode. We also enjoyed a fine bottle of pinot noir. Overall it was an incredible experience. "
