The basic margaritas are great, but try one off the special list. The waitress was fabulous, ask for Alicia. She explained all the food and made suggestions of things to try. The menu had interesting twists on Southwestern fair, and everyone was happy with their choices, even my vegetarian daughter. The tequila menu is awe inspiring and the margaritas were great, though the unusual twists on a margarita (like the spicy blood orange) were much better than the classic, which was ordinary.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Food and ServiceA group of friends and I had a wonderful dinner at Geronimo's on a recent Saturday night. We were a party of 8 and easily accommodated by the large restaurant in a lovely table by a back window. Our server was fantastic and the food was delivered at a perfect pace. Despite the restaurant being busy, we did not feel rushed. The tableside guacamole, tamales and fry bread were the biggest hits, but really everything we ordered was great. We finished the meal with several flights of tequila which was a lot of fun! We had a total of 12 people and the restaurant gave us a long family-style table which was a great accomodation, but.... th service was slow. Although our food came out in a decent amount of time, we had to keep flagging down the waitress every time we needed a drink, or wanted to order any part of our meal. She rarely came back to check on us.
