Germano's RistoranteJust okThis was our 3rd time visiting this restaurant and we didn't leave with intentions to go back anytime soon. First, the place always smells like a basement and has zero ambiance. Our server was basically non existent and made it painful for me to add any tip for his effort (I did leave 18% though). One of our group owned a local family restaurant for years said her food was good, but wasn't excited about anything else. The raspberry pie for dessert was heavenly! The staff was friendly, prompt and service oriented. We especially enjoyed the calamari appetizer; it isn't fried as normally found in restaurants but sauteed in a wine sauce with mushrooms and a little spice. Very nice and a highlight of our meal.

Not disappointed. Able to be seated right away, service was excellent. Food very well prepared. Felt the menu could have been more expansive, but what they offered was great. Not a hot spot, but recommend for quality Italian meal. The citrus arugula salad was wonderful -enjoyed mine with perfectly cooked scallops. The bread was served warm and was delicious. This year we will be celebrating Gramma's 97th birthday. The staff is amazing and even special order lamb chops just for her. The food is good, the service smooth and as our 7-year old grandson stated "That carrot cake is amazing. The best I've ever had!" (The spagetti dish) All 3 were different. 2 had burnt garlic cloves, heavy on the spagetti and few of the other ingredients and were somewhat bland. It's a regular haunt for us. My husband and I used to go there every Tuesday for lunch until our schedules changed. I have never had a bad meal there. They have at least 4 specials every day. It's not the usual Italian restaurant. The food is innovative with many fresh fish and yummy pasta dishes with a variety of unusual ingredients. I can't say a enough good things about it.
