"One of the best spots for dining in La Jolla! Love the atmosphere and the view. We missed on the waiter though as he was not doing the business any good..with his attitude and lack of service..we did have 2 small children and perhaps he is afraid of kids, but as a parent their needs must be met first and the adults can eat in peace. We normally don't bring the kids here but my daughter had just had a baby that day and there we were..snippy service and all. There were 7 of us and the food was good but the memory isn't good..sorry!"

"Happening Place - seems like it is always a busy place with an in-crowd. Superb view, but can be cool in the evening, temperature-wise, so the overhead heating lamps are welcomed. We did not have one at our table at first but hostesses kindly relocated us at the request of my wife. The two hostesses were extremely pleasant. Food was very good. My wife had the salmon and I had the hangar steak - we were quite pleased with both. Service was quite good and very friendly. All in all a great place if you like a busy scene, superb view, and very good food."
