We enjoyed all of the food that was ordered. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. The one problem was that one of the diners did not find a white wine to his liking, even though he tried. They tried, though!

Dinner after show at Terrace Theater and it was delicious. Everyone in our group was very happy with their meal. Only improvement- was the Hostess was not friendly or particularly courteous- she took us to table, left menus and was gone without saying a word.

Service couldn't be beat, but I found the food mediocre, and Greek food is one of my favorites. I had the slow-cooked lamb, which turned out like a dry pot roast. The salad wasn't great either.

I love George's and I come here often, however, the last 3-4 times i've come for friday night kleftico night, they have run out... and this is me coming for 7pm dinner. I think they should inform people upon entering that they've run out instead of keeping the advertisements up that they still have it. Very disappointing.

Liked it so much that we went back next night for dinner. The gyro meat is well-seasoned and quite delicious. The baklava is one of the best I've had - not too too sweet. Service was excellent but order came out of kitchen incorrectly both nights. Food is reasonable and good!

I took someone to George's as a first date. Both of us had never been there. I arrived there before my date and was greeted with open arms, literally. My guest and I were treated almost too nicely, being provided with two staff members to ensure the experience was a great one. The servers had tremendous knowledge of the menu. We tried the Friday special slow roasted Lamb, and it was delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone. It is affordable, the customer service is amazing, and the food is pretty good! Can't wait to take my date back there for an anniversary. I think I'm going to keep her too!

A must for excellent tasting Greek food. The atmosphere and service was very personable. With a very sincere smile on his face, George, himself was walking around greeting his customer's. Wine tasting before ordering by the glass or the bottle is offered and recommended -- that in itself was fun. Be sure to order the Saganaki. OPA!

George's Greek Cafe helped make my birthday celebration spectacular! First off, I accidentally had a couple extra people show up who I was not counting on, and they were most accommodating to our group! I felt bad and was apologizing and the manager's exact words were "Don't ever apologize for spending more money in our restaurant!," which immediately put me at ease. The food was absolutely delicious (I cannot wait to go back again!), and we enjoyed some live belly dancing and even participated a little bit. When will you open one in LA?? Thanks again for making it such a fun night for my friends and me.

Growing up in Chicago, I had my 1st Greek food experience at Diana's Gorcery store in the middle of Winter in the 6th grade, and have loved this cuisine ever since. Of the many Greek restaurants since then, George's Greek Cafe has been the BEST. From the avogolemeno soup, to the dolmades, saganaki and gyros appetizers, to the moussaka and lamb chops ~ Excellent! The Hellos beer and wine selection complemented the dishes. Even the pita bread and veggies/rice were great. Ruben is the ultimate waiter. OPA!!!!!

How can a meal that's preceded by a bear hug from George himself be bad? The food was delicious. Our appetizer of a combination dolmades, spanakopita, meatball and calamari was a perfect start. For entrees, we had a salmon filet and moussaka. It was plentiful and delicious. Desserts were equally memorable. We took advantage of the Valentine's day special which a 3-course meal for 2 for $55. That was the deal of the century. Our waiter and other wait staff were very friendly and made us feel comfortable. I truly felt "at home".

If you want authentic Greek food then you have found it. I have had both lunch and dinner here many times. The lamb chops are the most tender, melt in your mouth chops that your chops will ever taste. Everything is fabulous. Stuffed Salmon with spinach and feta is to die for. I am a true fan of the Souvlaki. Oh, their traditional greek salad is the best! and if your lucky, George will greet you when you walk in. He is a hugger so be ready. Lunch with my colleagues was a perfect summer day on the terrace. We were in the far corner and had the shade from an umbrella as well as beautiful trees surrounding us on 3 sides. There was a light breeze. The waitress was perfect. We had to wait 15-20 minutes for our "honored guest" and the waitress made sure that we had hummus and drinks to go around. She made sure we understood the menu. The food was prompt, hot and delicious. I liked the balance of the wait staff. They weren't "in our face" but close by so that they could translate our body language. We had an absolutely delightful mid-July business lunch on a Friday afternoon in Long Beach, and accomplished the agenda. I would come back.
