Gentleman FarmerSmall restaurant with rusticSmall restaurant with rustic feel. The lobster tail with truffle appetizer was excellent, tasty and creative. Smoked duck salad was also delicious. Mixed reviews on the baby octopus appetizer, where most of us were not fans. The tournedos main course was exquisite. Would definitely go again.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious AgainIt's BYO on Sundays, and I dined with 3 others and enjoyed a great meal at Gentleman Farmer. This was my fourth time in about two years, and the dishes are always delicious. This time I had sauteed baby octopus with chorizo, followed with grilled lamb chops, and finished with a pecan torte. A friend had a lobster salad that was generous with the crustacean. Great service with terrific wine glasses.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMIt's a very small place reservationIt's a very small place reservations are necessary4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMMust get items-snails, etc.The snails, the foie gras, and the ostrich were to die for!3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMDifferent and deliciousSmall space, but big on food. If you enjoy exotic meats and a meal slightly out of the ordinary, give Gentlemen Farmer a try. I had the curried garlic snails and wild boar chop and both were outstanding. The flavor of the snails was divine. My boyfriend had the foie gras torchon - so rich and buttery. He chose the ostrich for his entree and it was cooked to perfection. Really delicious and not as gamey as expected. The restaurant is tiny and lends itself to quiet conversation, but it is not stuffy or intimidating at all. A great find!3/19/2013 12:00:00 AM
