Gaslight is a French Brasserie celebrating our 4 year anniversary and our Boston Magazine award for Best French Brasserie. "Amazing! Tucked deep into South Boston, our party of four had a delicious Friday dinner at Gaslight. My colleague and I ordered the Steak Frites, which my colleague noted hesitantly was possibly the best steak he has ever had. The other members of our party ordered the pan seared cod and the duck confit, which were also well received. The wine list has good variety and carries a good range between reasonably priced wines to fine vintages. We finished with a round of espresso.

Would definitely go again and recommend to family and friends. I hear they also have a good Sunday brunch."

"We've been meaning to get to Gaslight for ages - went for Easter Brunch. The food was just fine and is reasonably priced for brunch. We enjoyed our entrees, and the croissant was amazing. Nice drinks and fine service. We'll give it a try for dinner soon."

"Went to Gaslight on Easter Sunday for Brunch. Ordered a pastry basket and two entrees. Due to the restaurant being busy, service was not as attentive as we are used to based on past visits. It took about 30 minutes for the food to arrive, even though we had requested to start with the pastry basket. When the food arrived, the fried eggs and white toast was delivered as scrambled eggs and wheat toast. The Croque monsiuer was fine. The food runner was told of the error as well as the missing pastry basket. When the waitress walked by the table a few minutes later, no mention was made of the missing egg plate. It took about 10 minutes for the fried eggs, still with the wrong toast, to be delivered to the table."

"A great place to dine with excellent food and an upbeat and energetic environment. I was annoyed with restaurant and the reservation's that I made knowing that it was the Saturday before Easter. Reservations were at 8:30. We did not get seated until 9:20 (50 minutes) after we arrived and it was 10:00 before we ate our entrees. Waitress forgot bread / butter twice and felt like she was working the Dinner to "Slow" shift and didn't want to be there at our table. Ran out of the specials and hostess wasn't upfront with how long we would be waiting until they would seat us at our table with our reservation. Willing to give it another try!"
