Oh, my girl friend loves the bread. Dipping it into the mussel bowl the soup at the bottom. For apps we he had octopuse and sweat breds. Entrees: duck confit and pork loin. Dessert: creme brûlée. All of the food was delicious, the pork was exceptional, so tender, cooked perfectly. Similarly, the creme brûlée was just right, the crisp top was not too thick and the creme was silky. The only complaint, and it is minor, is that the servers could have been more friendly. As it is, it's quite popular and for VERY good reason. We had the bone marrow and the sweetbreads for appetizers and we almost licked our plates clean! The fillet mignon was excellent and the sauce was beyond delicious. We also had the steak and fries which were great and although I was too full, the aioli that came with the fries was so good that I couldn't imagine not finishing all of my fires. For dessert, we had the beignets and they were so light, so puffy, so yummy! Oh and the wine...delicious. Service was impeccable. Servers were actually French - not faux. Food was quite good. Space was nice - not too crowded but lively. We had reservations and were seated immediately. A genuine bistro experience with the added feature of a good cocktail program. We had beautiful filet mignon and a fine Gigondas Cote du Rhone. Intelligent and dedicated wait staff who actually enjoy their work, strong cooking with minimal frou-frou.
