"Fabulous! From the moment we arrived, we were treated with outstanding service. We thoroughly enjoyed delectable appetizers and entrees, which were well explained by Bobby, server extraordinaire. The pastry chef prepared a beautiful and scrumptious dessert for the table in celebration of my daughter’s birthday. This is the place for a memorable dinner!"

"We made reservations for Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and arrived at 10:55. Although there were multiple tables available, the hostess told us needed to wait while one was cleaned off. We waited about 10 minutes while she disappeared. When she finally seated us, she gave us lunch menus and disappeared again; we had to ask our server for breakfast menus. Although our server was helpful when she came to our table, those visits seemed few and far between. We recently had an excellent experience at Gallery for dinner, but brunch seemed mediocre at best and overpriced for the quality of the food."

"I had been wanting to go here and was not disappointed. We decided to try it out a couple of days before Valentines Day, instead of trying to go out on the actual holiday. Almost gave it 5 stars overall -- the service was excellent (friendly but not too hovering) and the food delicious. The atmosphere is very country club -- may or may not be what you're looking for but was quite comfortable. Definitely recommend."

"The Ballentyne on Valentine’s Day weekend was very busy. Since it was a Mother and 3 daughters weekend, we were not in a rush. While dinner was fantastic, there were a few miss steps with our orders (well done steak vs medium well, as requested), the overall experience was very, very nice. Our waiter, Ryan, was very attentive and ensured that our dining experience was one to remember. Our favorites were the shrimp and grits, short ribs and grits and the halibut…it is a Southern Thing. The following morning, we made our way back to the Gallery Restaurant for the breakfast buffet. What can we say, we do plan to check-in, do the spa and dine at the Gallery Restaurant for many years to come."

"I stayed at the hotel where the restaurant is. Excellent luxury hotel. I had breakfast in the hotel which is superb. However, I was somewhat disappointed with dinner. The steak intially was not cut to specifications and was very bland (as opposed to a Ruth's Chris type steak). I also only had an hour for dinner, so i was in a hurry and it didn't help that the steak had to be recooked."

"Very nice dinner. Our suggestion would be that wait staff be trained to decant wine properly. Our waitress, Amanda, poured entire bottle into decanter, including sediment at the bottom of the bottle and seemed annoyed when we asked her to stop. She also did not have a towel with her when she poured the wine the first time, so she held her hand under the spout and came very close to wiping it off with her finger. Popovers were served cold. Meal was beautifully prepared."
