Its food is easily on par with the best restaurants in Columbus and better than most. Chef Glover of Sage is doing a great job of bringing upscale dining to the Hilton. This is our second visit and we will be back. My wife and I shared the Foie Gras au Torchon which was incredible, but way too rich for one person. My wife had the Amish Chicken which she will definetly have again. Overall the presentations are very appealilng and the food more than lives up to the visual appeal. The atmosphere is pleasant, given that the restaurant in is a large atrium area. The noise level is actually quite low which makes for a enjoyable experience. Food quality is high, as it must be if steak tatare is being served (excellent)as well as escargo. The deserts are quite tempting as well.
We also had breakfast at the restaurant and the buffet was quite nice. My colleagues and I were able to enjoy an incredible lunch that was new and innovative. Everything from our drinks, appetizers, salads, and entrees were fantastic. The waitstaff is very kind and the managers do an excellent job of making sure all of their guests are satisfied and well taken care of. Gallerie Bar & Bistro is perfect for all occasions whether it is for happy hour at the bar, a business lunch, or a romantic dinner they have it all! We will definitely be returning. We went for dinner on 4/4 to celebrate our 2 friends' birthdays and it couldn't have been nicer. We had no idea how nice this restaurant was and you did not feel like you were eating in a hotel -- you felt like you were in a high end, free standing restaurant! The experience was very nice in all ways ---- the service was outstanding, the food delicious, the atmosphere and ambiance was wonderful. Our server was Noor and he really sold me on all of my selections. And I was so happy with all of those. Everyone was very attetive and took great care of us!
