We were a party of 3, had a great table, and wonderful food for appetizer, dinner, and dessert. The chef circulated by our table (and all the others) to see how everything was. I could go on and on about the tastes and menu items we have tried, -- try and give the lamb shank a try with the butternut flan. OMGO! Yet there are so many great and fun things on the menu.
Ask your server -- they are all knowledgeable and attentive and enthused to be helping you enjoy your Galisteo Bistro experience!

Outstanding menu, ever changing specials, a notable wine list with very reasonable prices. The chefs meet and greet you as old friends, remember special requests at subsequent visits and never disappoint. Reservations are a must as the Bistro seems to be at capacity almost every night. It was the highlight of our trip to Santa Fe and we go there in large part for the food! It was a wonderful experience. Every dish we ordered (including dessert) was excellent; both in taste and presentation. It was worth every dime. And the service was exceptional; friendly and very attentive but not overly so. Our 16 yr old droppped her knife and it was picked up and replaced almost before it hit the ground. They were just as nice to our teenagers as to us. The appetizers -- oyster shooters and sweet and spicy mussels -- were nicely prepared, with fresh and delicious flavors. The "muddy waters" dish had some minor flaws -- the salmon was just a touch overcooked and the orzo did not have much flavor. But the sausage and fennel ragu was terrific. Ended our meal with a large french press coffee, which also was very good. Service was fabulous; extremely professional. Yes, we'll return! With a reservation, we were promptly seated, the server was freindly and knowledgeable, offering us a nice wine list, and a prix fixe menu, as well as regular offerings. It was all delicous! We informed that waiter that we were going to the theater after dinner and were served in a timely manner to make curtain call.
