Asked for medium rare and definitely received it medium. Otherwise, very good flavor. I was pleasantly surprised that the cowboy (scalloped) potatoes tasted so good but anything with bacon is pretty good. The service was wonderful. The food is awesome! The Steakhouse room is quite unique and adds to the dining experience. We will be back. The steak was delicious, of course, the vegetables were cooked perfectly for my taste-slightly crunchy yet done-and the potatoes were also prepared well. It wasn't too expensive for a party of 2, but it may get there if you have a larger party. They do have a lot of options other than steak too! Our server (I don't recall her name) was friendly, fun and very attentive without smothering us. I have only one minor issue and that was the lack of lighting at the table. Although there was a table candle it was difficult to read the menu. However, we were able to see well enough to order great dishes!!

Apparently, it still matters when people actually dress for dinner. Thanks, Galaxy! We both had the filet, medium-well. It was juicy and tender, but had a somewhat unusual peppery-topping that masked the natural beef flavor more than I would have desired. I understand that chefs will typically add their own "signature" spices, but in this case, it was overpowering and took something away from the taste. The food and service is excellent. My steak was perfect and hot.
We celebrated a birthday, so it was a great place to do that, we had excellent seating for that.
I would recommend The Galaxy to all who want a great dining experience.

It was extra nice that the head chef made a visit to our table and others. Our waiter was very helpful in explaining their cuts of meat and preparation of the beef selections.
