Mom at the reception desk, Dad making sure everyone is happy and two brothers as waiters. An impressive list of specials, recited perfectly. I had the gnocchi with gorgonzola cream sauce. My husband had the paparradelli with filet mignon tips with marsala sauce. Both were very good. For dessert, I had tiramisu (exceptional) and he had cheesecake (ordinary). My husband and I took my brother there while he was visiting from Cincinnati, OH. I should mention that we are Italian. We were all very impressed with everything from the moment we walked in and the hostess called me by name from my Open Table reservation! The service was great (Carlos was fantastic). My wife had the Rigatoni and the Bolagnese sauce and she too enjoyed her meal. Try to save room for dessert as the fresh vanilla bean Creme Brûlée was absolutely out of this world. The dining experience is consistently excellent. The menu is robust and they rotate specials so you never get tired of the choices. The specials are 'special.' My wife and I haven't ordered off the menu in years because we always choose one of their specials. They always have several to offer. The specials are also unique - from venison to baccala to hand-made pasta and exotic cheeses.
The wait staff are among the best trained, most professional, and most courteous in all of the valley (including those of the top-end resort restaurants). The restaurant is family-run and the owner, his wife, and sons all make you feel like family.
