  • Private Party Facilities: While we are perfect for a romantic night out Gabriel's also has fantastic accommodations for weddings, either indoors or outdoors in the garden area, holiday parties, business functions or just about any special event you have on your calendar. Our Victorian 1900's home hosts several smaller rooms to suit private dining rooms for 10 to 40, and our larger, beautifully appointed Milano room accommodates up to 100 guests. We are well known for our service of four course dining to all parties, no matter the size. Gabriel's Trilogy dinner starts with an appetizer, followed by soup, salad and an entree combination dinner of beef marsala, chicken parmigiana and shrimp gorgonzola. This is served with potato rosette, fresh vegetables and warm garlic bread. We do not charge a room fee and the price for the four-course dinner is $34.75 per person, not including tax or gratuity. Gabriel's takes great pride in the impeccable service we give to all our guests and to the large parties hosted.

  • Entertainment: Friday nights we have live guitar on the patio from 6pm to 9pm. Sunday nights through mid September we have a live jazz quartet on the patio from 6pm to 10pm featuring Don Grove and The Denver Jazz Quartet.
  • Special Events & Promotions: We open at 12:00 noon for the following Holidays; Easter, Mother's Day and Thanksgiving. On New Year's Eve we have a late night party package starting at 8:45 through midnight. Five-course dinner, wine - beer - cocktails, champagne at midnight, dancing.

  • Parking: Private Lot
  • Parking Details: There is a private paved parking lot at the back of the restaurant. Turn at the corner to reach the back side of Gabriel's. You may pull into the "turn around" to drop off guests and there will be no stairs into the restaurant from that point. Handicap parking is at the back side of Gabriel's, by the "turn around". We also have street parking out front and on the side of Gabriel's. From the street side there are stairs into the restaurant.

Gabriel's features elegant Northern Italian fine dining in the quaint town of Sedalia. Our restaurant is housed in the Victorian Manhart home which was built at the turn of the 1900's and converted into Gabriel's in 1985. Matthew and Jan, owners, have been serving the greater Denver area for over 20 years now. Gabriel's specializes in three-course dining so you won't just get an entree. Your evening will begin with an appetizer, followed by soup or salad, then the entree of your choice. Our pricing ranges from $25 to $48 for all three courses. We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious dinner in a quiet and charming room. We started our meal with some yummy cocktails and never felt rushed or harried. Our server was also a sommelier and recommended the perfect wine to pair with all three of our dinner choices. It was a very pleasant evening indeed!"

Always met with a smile, handshake and welcome back from Matthew and Jan (missed them this trip). Drinks are great and suggestions readily offered and the same for special wines. Service is prompt and always with smiles or apology if a minor mistake is made. Can only suggest taking a Friday or Saturday evening and enjoy. Somewhat pricey but for us, worth the nearly 40 minute drive each way from and to home. Thanks."

  • "I have an old family friend who is basically an aunt to me. She has been a part of our family for years. I wanted to show her and my mother and sister a great night out. I have never been so impressed by a staff's attentiveness or a meal more spectacularly prepared. Our server Amedeo was so superb with his delivery and his wine knowledge that I asked him to select my meal for me. I had a few dietary restrictions but I asked him to work around those and the kitchen accommodated. Then I asked him what would be a good wine based on what we would be having for dinner. He pulled a 1993 Joseph Drouhin Musigny from the cellar that had withstood the test of time. All in all, I was impressed, but more importantly, so were my guests."

We celebrated an 80th birthday, and the attendees ranged from 18 to 80 and eveyone enjoyed themselves.   • "Really thought this would be good after a family recommendation and reading reviews. The food was nothing special and the service was horrible. Nearly took three hours. Our waiter admitted it was his first night and proceeded to ignore us. Paid really good attention to the table right next to us though. Everyone was a lot older than us and must have been receiving preferential treament for being so. I was only asked if I wanted another drink once during dinner and it was when we ordered dessert, which we shouldn't have bothered waiting around for. The bill came out to be almost $1 a minute, so you do the math.... total disappointment."

James was a great waiter, knowledgable & lots of fun! We even had him guess how to match couples for our separate bills! We know each other so well, we often don't feel a need to sit by our spouses. The food was superb for this extended DRW, tho would rather have had a different appetizer than smoked salmon. Roasted cauliflower soup was so tasty! Several of us had the beef marsala(melted in our mouths)/shrimp scampi. Though no one did, it was nice to have the option of ordering from the regular menu at a comparable price with the same appetizer, soup/salad."

  • "Very quaint place upon entering. Once seated, we were welcomed, but our drink orders weren't taken for about 10 minutes and we had to remind server to give us menus. Upon receiving our food, our experience changed from okay to poor. Unfortunately the food was not good. Our appetizer was smothered in a sauce and over cooked, the salad was okay, and our entrees were not edible. The server did offer us a gift certificate upon leaving to make up for it, which was a nice gesture."

The food was served similar to a wedding service - all plated at once and served so it wasn't hot. The mashed potatoes were piped and stiff. The experience reminded me of the old Italian restaurants my father took me to in San Francisco. Lots of older guests - not very lively. Yet, the food was good not different or great. I wouldn't return especially since it's pricey and a 30 minute drive from our house."

I really liked being in a quieter room with only 3 tables. The cream of mushroom soup was the very best I've had. After her first bite of the lamb chops my wife just sat back and smiled for several minutes. The pace was relaxed which added to our enjoyment."
