  • "We enjoyed our night out from having our table ready when we arrived to the tour of the lounge afterwards. The wine list was extensive and we found a good Chardonnay my partner and my margarita was over the top and I look forward to the next one. The mussels and shoestring potatoes were good and the sauce was as good as the mussels. The grilled hanger steak was done just right at medium rare and tasty with a good chew and mouth feel. The fingerling potatoes were al dente and tasty. After seeing the desserts we would of liked to have save some room but settled for a cappuccino instead. We were very pleased!"

  • "It was Valentines Day 2/14/14 and we had 5pm reservations. We were seated close to the entrance door, we asked to be moved but they said they couldn't. It was apparent they overbooked - restaurant patrons were standing by the door waiting for their tables to be available, clearly the result of overbooking. The food took a very long time to come out of the kitchen - you could see that we were not the only ones waiting for our food. And the food was so,so. Our waitress was very nice - not her fault. I have always liked Gabrielle's but it has changed -we won't be back for a long time."

  • "when we arrived , we were nicely greeted, our coats were checked in and we were seated. our waitress was very friendly and attentive. we ordered an appetizer but it took a while for it to come out, and then the entrée also took too long to be served. although the food was very good and the presentation of our entree's was lovely, it was a bit too long of a wait. the restaurant is lovely and very nice for a special occasion. we would consider returning for dinner but hoping there is a quicker turnaround with the meal. we would have also preferred better seating. we were seated at a table to the right of the entrance. it was noisier since it was very close to the door and also a little cold."

  • "I was looking for a unique restaurant that could provide a diverse yet distinctive menu. Well Gabrielle's did not fail me. Having gone for a birthday dinner with the family, we found that it provided us a wonderful experience. The staff was quite attentive to providing the very best service to us, while not being intrusive while we were eating. The food was well prepared and extremely flavorful. The presentation could have been a bit more creative, but again, the flavor was outstanding. Having a party of six, the food came to our table together and hot. Being that it was the middle of the week, many more people were opting to eat at the bar. The newly renovated dining area exuded a clean, crisp and comfortable feeling. Will go back."

  • "Soup and salad appetizers were tasty. Waitress was lovely but found it odd that I was told I would have to wait for my drink because the bar was backed up. Main course of beef and shrimp was quite bland and quite skimpy Beef was very undercooked. I sent it back and waited almost ten minutes for it to be returned."

  • "We were greeted nicely upon arrival and promptly seated. Our waitress had a nice sense of humor which helped her get through the occasional glitch in service. The food was very good nicely presented and the portions were quite large. We were not rushed through the meal, so that added to our enjoyment. Overall, I would consider this to be one of the best dining experiences I have had in this area for quite awhile!"

  • "We had a very wonderful dinner. Interesting, creative, flavorful dishes. We had an early reservation, so the restaurant was less than full. What surprised us was the noise level. You could hear other table's conversations clearly. So on a busy night, expect it to be tough to carry on a conversation. Again, the food is great and the service is terrific."

I've only been there once, so it's hard to say a lot other than the menu is good with a good variety of more-or-less "standard" type offerings and the entrees I and my companion ordered were well-prepared. I would definitely eat there again. Good service, decent ambience, happy that were not rushed and we could converse comfortably."

  • "This was our first visit to Gabrielles. we went with friends two days after Christmas. We were a bit worried when it was basically empty, but it had been recommended to us as a good spot. We got a nice table, although it was chilly next to the window. We had a few glitches with incomplete menus, not getting drink orders right, not noticing when a mishap with food left us with water and wine glasses that needed to be replaced. Since the restaurant was not at all full, we were surprised that these simple things were overlooked. All that said, the food was very tasty. The question above (#2) does not hit any of the reasons we would recommend this restaurant. We would recommend it because it is a good (albeit a bit pricey) option for the area."

  • "All appetizers and entrees ordered by our party of five were delicious. Unfortunately, we were never able to try the desserts because of a seemingly interminable wait for our entrees, coupled with poor service. We had a 5:30 reservation and were the only ones in the restaurant for a long while. Our waitress kept disappearing, and we had to search for her several times throughout the meal. We informed her that we were going to the theater, and even asked for our check when she delivered our entrees. This was the worst waitress service I have experienced in decades of dining out. I might return for the food if I could have a different waitress. I based the overall ranking almost exclusively on the food."

  • "We had the Duck Bolognese and it was absolutely out of this world. The flavors were wonderful. The duck delicious. The gnocchi were to die for. I also ate the Cornmeal Encrusted Oysters because I have to get them every time I go to this restaurant. My husband doesn't even like oysters and said they were unbelievably good. Perfect. Would recommend to anyone for any occasion."

We've had the mussels appetizer many times & it never fails to impress. Our salads are always very fresh. So much so that we both make the other person taste what we have. The rainbow trout was very good. The apple slaw on top made the dish even better. We will be back."
