  • "Our server was great. She knew exactly when to come and when to be there she also knew exactly how to get out attention when she needed it. The margaritas were great and the food was on point. Prices are not your typical nyc prices. They're less!!! Thank you. Well done"

  • "Love the margaritas, fabulous food, but best to go during the daytime. After 5 pm, the screaming children and noise level are nearly unbearable!"

  • "We might as well not have made a reservation as we had to wait 30 min. With that, our service was terrible. We sat for twenty min before being addressed, each time we wanted a refill I had to physically go to the bar and request one. We"

  • "I found the food good, but a bit overpriced for that type of fare. The environment is pleasant."

  • "Went to this place for brunch. The food was really good and not too expensive but more importantly they had a fantastic range of Tequila if that is your drink."

  • "Have been here many times. Food and atmosphere are always enjoyable, but this night the kitchen was in disarray; our entrees came after extremely long waits; two of the four plates were lukewarm to cold, and my Carne Asada platter, which was supposed to be skirt steak was a different cut, with no explanation. Though the cut was a better one, my craving was for the skirt steak. The food, as always, was tasty; the server apologized; and the manager came over, did the same, sent us two desserts and deducted a percentage from the bill, but again did not tell us. This was my first disappointment after many enjoyable meals. The staff's apologies and attention assured a return. But next time, expect no forgiveness."

  • "Outstanding food and excellent margaritas. The staff is friendly and service oriented. A must visit if you're on the Upper Westside."

  • "I celebrate birthdays here with a group of friends several times a year. Cuisine is primarily Mexican, with a good, reasonably-priced brunch that can include an excellent Margarita. Service is attentive, not intrusive. The place can be a bit noisy when it's crowded, especially since the prices and the food make it good for families with children. The children sometimes get too boisterous for us elderly folks, but other than that we enjoy the relaxed, friendly atmosphere."

  • "My family and I (party of 6) went to Gabriela's to celebrate my Daughter's graduation from college. The food was delicious, and the service we received was very good. This was our first time there, it came recomended from a friend of my daughter, I would recomend Gabriela's to others."

  • "Gabriela's decline has been steady since it moved from the original Amsterdam location to Columbus - but perhaps more importantly, since it was purchased by Restaurant Associates (?). While they still make an excellent margarita, it seems to me the quality of the ingredients has declined. At our dinner, the pork chop was tough and dried out, the sauce unremarkable and the roast chicken no longer has the delicious traces of citrus and spice that once made it one of the best pieces of comfort food in the city. Service is pleasant but slow, The food needs an injection of quality and oversight - to give dishes more snap and interest - and bring Gabriela back to the days when it was like dining in the kitchen of your beloved abuela from Mexico."

  • "This is a great neighborhood brunch spot especially for Mexican Food fans. Everything my party are was delicious. I love the cornbread and the fruit cup you get with the specials that is in an edible cup sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. Definitely will return here again very soon!"

  • "Having to shout at your dinner partners to carry on a conversation just isn't worth it. The noise level was nearly unbearable. the food that night wasn't even up to the usual standard."

  • "Eat here often for fresh tasty food, prompt friendly service. This time 5 of us ordered from the regular and daily special menus. Corn soup and lobster quesadilla hit the spot, porkchop special with sweet potato, enchiladas, and of course large lime margaritas compliment any meal. Guacamole could have been spicier."

  • "Gabriela's brunch menu is fine, but not great. The caramelized banana pancakes are delicious, and the egg dishes are just okay. I find it disappointing that the brunch specials do not come with a drink, while the regular brunch menu items do."

  • "The ribs were amazing, and my little one loved the soft chicken tacos. Kept him quite for ages - always a good thing."

  • "I was so sorry how bad this place has gotten-I had fond memories of the food and service some years ago. The food was cold and unremarkable except that the queso fundido was a melted block of cheese with milk or something cooked with it (it wasnt even a sauce and we had to send it back), our entrees took forever to arrive, we had a few different servers all whom forgot my stepmothers three requests for water. I had a margarita that was so strong it tasted like nail polish remover! I ordered a club soda just to dull it down and it didn't help -it was still like turpentine. All in all, we had a laughable experience and it pained me to have to pay money for what they called a meal. I would never return and neither would the company I was with."

  • "Great Food - Good Price We like it there and enjoy their marinated rotisserie chicken. It's amazing!!! They also have a couple of apps that are great! They do need to change up the sizes of the wine glasses. Other than that it's all good!"

  • "Friends and I had been to Gabriela's before. It's a beautiful restaurant with outdoor seating too. The Mexican menu and cuisine are superb, so we made a reservation for Halloween dinner. My frozen Margarita was the best I've had. My friends enjoyed the wine and beer choices. We enjoyed appetizers, salad, entrees, sides and dessert--all affordable. My vegetarian casserole was sooo delicious; and my friend's seafood burritos were so special that no one talked except to say, "Ummm, yummm." Our waiters treated us royally. There was a nice Day of the Dead altar, Many customers and the wait-staff were in costume (devils, ghouls, witches and a beautiful butterfly). We feasted and had fun for hours!"
