We were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is attractive but a little dark, the service was excellent and so was the food. We shared the squid ("peppered calamari") first, it was very tasty and an original preparation. Next we had Vindaloo lamb, chicken Biriyani and buttered naan. All were superb. We wonder why the owner (or chef) doesn't make this an exclusively Indian restaurant; is there not enough demand on the island? The Indian items are at the bottom of the menu and are not what the waiter was promoting (he proposed a steak when we were first seated), but they are excellent.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMMy husband and I went forMy husband and I went for dinner, and our meals were delicious.
