Funky Monkey Wine Company @ The PointeBest Birthday Celebration EVer !I went to celebrate my bday had such an awesome time that I wrote to funky monkey on fb to thank them . Everything from begining to end was amazing . I am so please to tell you everyonr had a fantastic time, they all loved the food from apps to dinner along with bottles of wine. We were a party of 12, the servers ray and sorry don't remeber the othe name :-/ were attebtive but not over bearing, food was correct, and delious. I think everyonr will be back again. I will recommend the Funky Monkey at the pointe to evryone. Thank you for a great birthday

The menu is eclectic, but accessible. We enjoyed the small plates and salads. The ambiance was great, and the service was friendly and professional (though a little slow... thus the four-star rating). The food was fresh, creative, and full of flavor. The only negative was that the entertainer insisted that I take a celebration shot of tequila even after I told them I do not drink alcohol ever. However the food was slow coming out of the kitchen. Thank goodness we ordered a sushi roll as an app. A very friendly businessman was dining next to us alone and waited entirely too long to get his salmon. He did not order an appetizer either. The. Bartender brought him a salad to hold him over - compliments of the house and poured him two glasses of wine on top of the first one that he ordered compliments of the house. No one asked him if he wanted the salad or if he wanted more wine they just served it to him. The restaurant was not even 1/4 full so they weren't too busy. The food was amazing, bar and wine list were great. We went on a Saturday night and it was rather slow so not sure if that's normal - for being in the Pointe, I highly doubt it.
