  • "A good restaurant to try if you like the teppanyaki experience, but the good and atmosphere could be better. The club music was an interesting choice and played loudly throughout our dinner. Some if the antics, especially the plastic little boy used during the cooking show, were somewhat dated and distasteful. The good was well prepared. Not sure if we will return, but entertaining tri-cities fare."

  • "We find the hibachi experience to be a lot of fun for the whole family. Unfortunately it's very expensive to take a group. Kids' meals are around $15 and if you add the chicken fried rice it's another $3 per person. If you order the chicken fried rice as a separate plate (not hibachi), it takes too long to come from the kitchen and the kids go hungry while the adults eat. We tried that option this time, and the cook got very confused. He ended up serving the kids from the adult fried rice portion and ran out before we were all served. Then he tried to make more with extra steamed rice, but it was missing egg and was too salty. Later we were served two giant bowls of chicken fried rice from the kitchen, and it all came home with us."

The chef was not as entertaining as we have seen as far as tricks go, but he kept the group engaged and still made it fun. Definitely not a cheap place to eat, especially if you have kids, but we will definitely be back for special occasions."

The bar folks were nice and had our drinks brought to the table. Our overall experience was 5 star. We would recommend the Richland, WA restaurant to anyone coming through town and our close friends.   • "Although we had a reservation we were seated after walk ins and then seated at the same table with them. Table seated after us started the cooking process first. After nearly 1:10 hour they finally sent a chef our way. He did ok in antics for kids but certainly was not the best we have had. Food was good and meal that had to be cooked in kitchen due to food allergies arrived ahead of everyone else's food. This was good because last time we visited it came about 30 minutes after everyone was done eating as they had forgotten about it. Overall the food is good and the kids love the entertainment. Service needs some work."

  • "Went there the other night, made an online reservation for 6pm. We were promptly seated with another couple and then proceeded to wait until 6:50 for our chef. The place was less than half full so I have no idea what the delay was all about. I asked to talk to the manager and was assured he would be over to talk to us. He swung by our table toward the end of our meal and asked if we needed drink refills and then walked off. Luckly, our chef, Ray, was fantastic, our server, Alexis, seemed to care about the delay and was otherwise attentive as well. The onion soup was not exciting, the salad dressing was yummy but the lettuce itself was iffy. The food Ray cooked was hot, fresh, and yummy. My somewhat picky children LOVED the food too."

  • "One of the best things about this restaurant is the 3 kinds of seating: at the bar, at a private table (in a separate room) and hibachi seating where the chef cooks at the table. We chose a private table this time and enjoyed the more privacy for the two of us. We got the filet mignon and scallop entree for two and it was delicious -- and it was a very big serving that included fried rice and vegetables. This entree also came with soup and salad and ice cream for dessert -- skip the ice cream, it's very ordinary. We plan to go back with a group for the hibachi style service. A good place to eat for just two, or with a group, and certainly fun for kids if you do the hibachi seating."
