The portions are generous, I would recommend the fried rice in lieu of the steamed as it is wort the few extra dollars. The kids especially enjoyed the chefs utensil and knife work and the onion volcano."

  • "We go to Fujiyama once a month and have never had poor service until our last visit. We made reservations at 7:30 it took them an half hour to seat us. Once seated it took the waitress another 15 minutes to just get our drink orders. After that it took another 15 minutes just to get the soup out to us. All the steak was cooked over and well done, even the Filet Migon. When all was said and done we were not satisfied and just wanted our check so we could leave. . "

  • "The food and entertainment while preparing it was spectacular. I was quite disappointed as my family had never been there, but a friend and her husband took me, it was extremely expensive. We had our reservation for1:00. We were told it was the dinner menu only. We hadn't planned on spending $144.00 to take our family and Mother-in-law out. We will probably not go back. I don't think that is right charging dinner prices for an afternoon lunch. "

Of our group, 3 of them were under 6 years old and they loved it too! The absolute best sea scallops I have ever eaten! We will go to Fujiyama again for celebrations and just for dinner!! "

  • "I have been going to Fujiyama since it first opened a few years ago. Finally, there was a hibachi restaurant in my city! The food is always excellent, and the entertainment is great fun. But for this particular reservation, two friends were visiting me from out of town, and I mentioned that to the chef, William, jokingly telling him to put on a good show. And he did! I am not sure if it was what I said or not, but he had all sorts of new jokes and tricks I hadn't ever seen before. And I had last gone a month ago, too! I was very pleased, as were my guests. I thni my table really lucked out. At the table ajacent from us, the chef was. So quiet as he cooked. And it was because all the customers were glued to their smartphones. A shame..."

  • "We took my mom and our son here for the dramatic teppanyaki presentation - a chef in tall hat prepares your food to order in front of you on a grill. Our party tried a range of the hibachi salmon, steak and chicken with the option to have fried rice instead of plain. There is throwing/juggling of utensils and balancing whole eggs and small towers of flame! Our chef dropped his items and didn't do a very good job cleaning off the griddle at the end. Also the fan hood wasn't working above our table. The restaurant could use some music in the background to cover up the lack of ambiance, and definitely a better ventilation system. When you walk in, you are hit with the smell of old frying. Our waitress filled everyone's orders correctly."

  • "very open inside. People sit around the grill, so you get to watch the meal being prepared. Everything is fresh and good quality. The steak melts in your mouth. Shrimp and scallops were cooked to perfection. I love a good Martini, the Cosmo was delightful. Lots of food for the price. Really enjoyed the experience. Great for a Birthday party."

  • "I made reservations for a large group for my grandma's birthday on 3/14. We had to wait 2 HOURS to be seated!! I was beyond furious and the hostess was NO help whatsoever. We waited in the bar and had a few drinks to kill time but when I kept asking how much longer it was going to be, the hostess would NEVER give me an estimated time and kept saying 'we will get you seated as quickly as we can' WHAT IS THE WHOLE POINT OF MAKING RESERVATIONS IF WE HAVE TO WAIT THAT LONG?!! don't mind waiting 15-30 mins but NOT 2 hours!! They didn't offer to comp on us anything not even an apology. They should of made things right and didn't. I would only recommend going here for lunch OR if you show up at least an hour early before your reservation."

  • "The entertainment provided by Chef William as he prepared our many and varied dishes before our eyes was well worth the visit. We had a restaurant prep chef in our party, and even he was impressed with the juggling, flourishes, knife skills and sleight of hand maneuvers displayed during the cooking of our excellent meal. Steak, shrimp, chicken, salmon and calamari steak were all prepared and served as entrees at our table of ten. Everything was delicious and cooked as ordered. One fun flourish was the flaming onion volcano that Chef made twice to the delight of all, but especially the little preschooler at our table."

  • "Saturday night very crowded but I had a reservation and was seated about 10 minutes after my reservation time. I would not choose a visit on a Saturday evening again. Much noise, many small kids and the ambience left a lot to be desired. Food was excellent, service from bar very slow! I'm a repeat customer but not on a Saturday night again. Staff was great but a tad overwhelmed by the size of the crowd."

  • "My wife and I love this restaurant! It is a classic Japanese teppanyaki style steakhouse on the model of Benihana. The chefs are very engaging and put on quit a display of knives, spatulas, spinning eggs, onion volcanoes and leaping flames! Interacting with the chefs is part of the fun! The food is mouth watering amazing! Don't forget to try the Yum-Yum sauce. Our Silverdale Fujiyama is always busy and I recommend reservations to avoid a long wait. The adjoining bar area is simple, but adequate when waiting for a table. I love this restaurant!"

  • "I made my reservation and noted on the reservation that I was in a wheelchair and when I got there they had no place for me to sit. They told me I had to wait 40 minutes and that I needed to let them know that I was in a wheelchair I told her that I did. She looked again and saw my note and told me I had to wait as they could only put me in one spot and that spot was full. There was no room to wait in the waiting area for a wheelchair and the tables in the bar area where all high so I had no place to wait. Once we got to the table we had to wait longer for them to fill the table before we could start. I did not feel welcome park and ended up parking really far away and struggle to get to the resturant as there were hills and I would love"

  • "We went to Fujiyama to celebrate my husband's birthday with a group of friends and had a wonderful meal. The meal was free for the birthday boy because we had a party larger than 6 and they had great Seahawk themed happy hour cocktails. The chef was lots of fun and very entertaining. The food was out standing and the portions were huge."

  • "We ordered tempura shrimp but not as we expected. As if we ate at John Silver. I asked for my Hibachi New York steak well done but meat was still pink. Fried rice was too salty, too much soy. Grill was not scrubbed well, so as if we're eating with charcoal. We wish there was fried garlic."

The show that the chef put on kept children & adults entertained. Our service was excellent with our "needs: well maintained without us having to ask."

  • "As a server, I'm generally pretty lenient when it comes to slow service during a busy dinner rush. But 25 minutes for drinks is a little ridiculous. Our server seemed high and out of it, but I know I can get like that when I work a double on a busy day. Generally, my experiences here are great. This time around was awful."
