  • "Like many others they offer the large table top grill with a bit of a show. Ordering is easy and the cook double checks to ensure the order before he starts to cook. Lots of food being flipped, foolish tricks, a small food toss, and an onion volcano. Always good fun. Nice for groups, a date, or even with kids as their noise isn't much trouble. Price is a little high to eat there regularly but the taste of the food is equal to the price I think."

  • "There were birthdays being celebrated and that's fine but when the guests start to use foul language and are asked not to stop that's uncalled for. There were children in this restaurant also at the time. In fact there was a little girl at our table who was only 6. Maybe the staff needs some training on how to handle guest like that.. We also noticed other sections food starting to be cooked before ours even though we were there before them. One of the patrons asked one of the bus boys when our turn was and he was rude and basically blew him off. This might of been because our cook was busy "partying" with the one table, such as drinking with them. That's just not right and then to get a lousy show."

  • "Everything was great after we got seated. We arrived about ten minutes before our 7:30 reservation and expected some delay because it was Valentine's day. We did not expect to wait nearly 45 minutes just to be seated. It kind of defeated the purpose of making a reservation. (We have dined at this type of restaurant before and our wait time was far less)? Our waitress, Amanda was friendly and efficient and our chef Lynn was highly skilled and entertaining. We would recommend this restaurant for special occasions."

  • "I was not sure if this would be a good venue for conversation with our dinner companions, but it turned out to be perfect. Although the chef and other parties were at the same grill, we were seated in a way that we could easily carryon our own conversation. The waiter was interactive, but not too intrusive."

  • "We enjoyed the dinner experience. Very long wait, even with reservations. Once seated, our party of 10 had a great time. The chefs are entertaining and the food tastes excellent. They were very kind to create a special dish in the back for a food allergy. I would recommend this restaurant as long as you have patience to wait for a seat and good with community dining. The "dinner show" is a fun experience."

Our dinners were supposed to come with desert but the waitress skipped us, but gave it to another couple that was seated with us. We didn't notice until we were talking about dinner on the way home.   • "We had a very large group of almost 25 total and they were more than happy to accommodate us! We had 2 chefs...one was unbelievably funny, charming, entertaining and just plain awesome cook! The other was just as good of a chef but not quite as entertaining. Wait staff was fairly attentive, the only flaw was having to ask for drink refills a couple of times, but it may have been the large group that affected them! Overall, great experience, but they are not very well physically equipped to handle parties over 20! The chef Christian is AMAZING!!! We love him!!"

  • "We were fortunate to sit at a table with an entertaining and funny chef. He also displayed his cooking talents & cooked a great meal! After the chef was done serving the food and bid good evening, another chef started at the other end with his customers and he was not entertaining at all from the looks of it. There is lots of food to eat. FYI - if you order the couples meal, you save $6.00 as it comes with fried rice. If you each choose a separate order, fried rice is optional at $3.00 extra."

  • "The food was very good and the sauces make it better. The banter and jokes of the chefs was fun and seems to be an integral part of the experience of going here. You don't just get some really good food, you also get an experience. I think you can find Japanese restaurants with similar food quality and portions, but I thought the chefs were really the entertainment value you CAN'T get elsewhere and that makes it great for special occasssions or just when you're having a bad day and want to treat yourself to something fun. Sometimes you just are not having the best day or week and you want to have something fun happen to you. I thought it was fun to go and it was cheaper than a movie these days!"

  • "I took my entire management team to dinner. While I've visited Japanese grills before, I had never been to Fujiyama. I wanted my team to be entertained and to be able to celebrate the holidays. We were rewarded on both counts! Our chef was engaging and professional and very funny. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere provided a great place to laugh and enjoy each other's company. Very successful celebration."

  • "Took the Mrs. to lunch at 2PM. We ordered off of the lunch menu. Had two drinks each. The bill (before tip) was $95 and change. We were charged for the dinner prices. Normally I would have questioned the pricing, but it was our 24th anniversary and didn't want to end it on a bad note so I ate the cost. I also gave the cook a $20.00 cash tip, before I knew about the dinner pricing. With the bill, cooks tip and the tip I left for the wait staff I was out $135.00 for lunch. That being said, service was fabulous, food was excellent and the service was second to none. We really enjoyed ourselves and truly feel that the staff worked hard to make sure we were comfortable. Thank you to the Staff!"

  • "I came here for my birthday because I love the food and the service is always amazing. I was not dissapointed. The only thing I could say was bad was when the chef lit rhe onion tower on fire then slid the pieces across rhe grill and some oil flew from the onion and got on me and the person sitting next to me. We were fina and it was no big deal though."
