  • "Food was fantastic, and you could easily split an entree with all the other stuff that comes with it. We purchased the VIP card and had a little upset with that (they used to do it as a point system, now you just receive 10% off for every visit). Overall it was a great experience, if you go request Yipeekiyea as your chef, he is hilarious!"

  • "When I made an on-line reservation, I specified it was my son's 10th birthday, and requested Ky for our chef. Ky has been requested by other family members and is great. They said they would do their best, we did not get ky, and not a very funny or talkative chef. he was good, food was good, but wasn't has great as I've experienced before. Also, we had to tell them it was Baylor's birthday, even though he had opened a gift and cards....it was ok....had hoped for a little more, especially when spending 150 on dinner."

Lots of fun to go with a group - there aren't great menu items for kids but with the chef being right there, with so much energy it keeps children entertained so they behave!!"

  • "We went to Fujiyama's for our Valentine's Day Anniversary. We had an excellent meal seated with two young families-9 of us. We chose the Valentine's Day special, Rib Eye, Lobster and Shrimp. YUM! The server was very pleasant and the chef was entertaining. The food was cooked to perfection! The prices were a little high, but for our special occasion, it was worth it. Our meal even came with a scoop of ice cream to top off the evening. The whole place was fun and had a happy atmosphere. All in all we had a good time."

  • "My younger sisters where looking for a hibachi grill because they really enjoyed the experience last time they visited Las Vegas. Right from the moment we walked in the door the service was excellent. We had a party of seven and they sat us at the right time for our reservation. The server was very you friendly and attentive. Once the chef got to the table the small children were being shy, as a result he used the best trick in the book, bribery. This set the tone for a great night and I would highly recommend the restaurant for any occasion."

  • "Had a 5:30 reservation and showed up early for a drink, they called us in 30 minutes early and mashed us into the openings between the two cooks - not able to see a thing. Put us in as fillers to get the earlier dinner kicked off . Although our cook did a great job - I couldn't see due to sitting basically behind him. I could see as little of the cook to his back and could hear him better. He was brand new and did absolutely nothing a cook is expected to do at a Teppanyaki style dinner. He kept telling the table he was nervous and hadn't learned any tricks and kept asking if they needed the food cooked more and if the taste was alright. If they are trying for quality and not quantity - they get a D - . Won't go back !"

  • "I have to admit I have been here before and the service was excellent. This time however I made special reservations for a First Date with someone that had never been to this restaurant before. On a Saturday night during a dinner rush there was a brand new Chef that had never had a table before and this is where a Reserved group was placed. There was no real showmanship, the Chef struggled with his job. The food has excellent flavor but was a very poor choice to have a new Chef on one of the busiest nights, Especially for those who make the reservations."

  • "No one to greet you when you come in, had to wait a few minutes for someone. My husband was ready to leave. The filet mignon should have melted in my mouth but was tough. I don't believe the scallops were real sea scallops. The soup tasted like warm, slightly onion flavored water. The mai tai cocktail I had was very good. There should be different routines from the chefs depending on the diners occasion for dining there (wedding, birthday, anniversary, etc). The service was good although I feel any napkin folding should not be performed in the main dining room, it distracts from the chefs routine."

I would have liked to have my meal items at the same time...not in pieces, Most of my food was cold waiting for the meat entree to be cooked. Qty of food was interesting, I'm afraid what the lunch size would be. Chef was very entertaining. Will return for lunch, but, not on Sunday."

Fun to watch a chef cook your food right in front of you. food was good. i did not like their dipping saurce as much as benihana's, but their food tasted good without it. only thing bothered us while we were there was that a lady video taped the whole cooking performance of the chef with her cell phone right across from our table. i understand to video tape bit of the performance, but entire dinner???. we were definitely in the picture as well, and it made us uncomfortavle video taped while eating. i am sure the chef was uncomfortable as well. so if you are planning to do videotape your dinner, pls make it brief and not the entire dinner."

We were a little disappointed but went with it. The part of the seating that we were Unhappy we were seated next to children we couldn't even have real conversation, we could not even talk to other adults because they were sitting at the far end and didn't want to raise our voice The other thing that was a Disappointment was the gentleman sitting across the table was having a birthday and it was mentioned several times our anniversary was only mentioned once and that was when we were walking out the door by one of the waitresses."

  • "Food -excellent; Service-excellent; Issue with bill- Big sign outside (and inside and on Facebook) about their November deal -- Buy one lunch or dinner at regular price - receive one lunch or dinner at 50% off. What the signs do not say is that the deal only applies to one meal per ticket. So when my family of 8 dined there, imagine the shock when we received only one 50% off meal out of 8. Won't be going back. Not a fan of false advertisements, and it's a shame they drove off our business. Will be driving to Seattle for Benihana's next time."

The dipping sauces that came with meal,we're pretty bland,would have liked more of that spicy sauce.,my steamed rice was on the cool side,before my entree was ready ,The music too loud,thought it would be more authentic if music matched the theme of the restaurant,something quiet in the background would have been nicer.."
