  • "My family and I went there on Saturday the 26. We got seated, then our server came and took our drink orders. Shortly after a different server brought us our drinks. Then left, we were ready to order at this point. 10 mins later he comes back and attempts to take our order. It takes him about 5 different try's to get it right. We put in our appetizer order in too. Another 10 mins pass, the server comes back only to go over our order yet again. He hasn't even put in our appetizers yet. When we finally got out soups and salad, still no appetizers. They showed up right as the cook was starting our food. We had to keep asking for refills. He didn't remember who had what drinks. It wasn't a very pleasant experience this time."

  • "My husband and I picked this restaurant to send his parents for their 30th anniversary. We are out of state but had good experiences at Japanese steakhouses so our hopes were high. They delivered! Moreover, my other in law says they treated them like royalty! We're so happy they had an amazing experience, especially because we couldn't be there. I would recommend this place for special occasions and any other time too!"

Food was yummy and portions were large, chef was friendly and polite, waitress was ok, hostess was an idiot and sitting a quiet couple with a birthday party is not smart business. Would recommend for parties but not for date night need to get hostess who isn't oblivious. Though the prices were not bad, disappointing atmosphere being crammed @ a table with loud strangers not what we had planned."

The prices although maybe a little bit high were still reasonable, the food was excellent and the show, service from the chef and wait staff was great! I would say the only thing that wasnt great was they never served us our appetizer that was included in our meal. other than that great experience!"

  • "We made our reservation via online & the hostess read the computer wrong & gave our reservation 2someone else.We had a reservation @ 7pm we saw the other hostess tell the other hostess she was wrong in who she sat first so we ended up having 2wait another 20min.Finally we're seated @7:20 didn't receive drinks until 7:45 & our waitress only came 2our table 2take our order & then ONCE 2refil our drinks & even then forgot to bring water @ our request.We have been to this restaurant 3 times prior but never had Jerry as our chef & he was not very entertaining which was a disappointment as we brought someone that had never been before.We will not be back after the horrible service on what was suppose to be a special day for the guest we brought. "

  • "My daughter chose Fujiyama as her birthday dinner destination. The food was fantastic and the chef was entertaining. It was a great experience overall. I love the fact that they comp the birthday person's meal. That said, they make up for it in several "nickle and dime" charges on the bill at the end of the meal - they charged us $3.00 for my 4 year old to share her sister's meal (come on - she's 4. There is no way she eats enough food to warrant that charge), each of the kid's drinks was $2.00, which seemed a bit excessive, and the "free" birthday cake was actually $3.00. Overall, we love this restaurant. We will return but most likely we won't bring the whole family. It will become a date night destination only."

We purchased the VIP card and had a little upset with that (they used to do it as a point system, now you just receive 10% off for every visit). Overall it was a great experience, if you go request Yipeekiyea as your chef, he is hilarious!"

  • "When I made an on-line reservation, I specified it was my son's 10th birthday, and requested Ky for our chef. Ky has been requested by other family members and is great. They said they would do their best, we did not get ky, and not a very funny or talkative chef. he was good, food was good, but wasn't has great as I've experienced before. Also, we had to tell them it was Baylor's birthday, even though he had opened a gift and cards....it was ok....had hoped for a little more, especially when spending 150 on dinner."

  • "My younger sisters where looking for a hibachi grill because they really enjoyed the experience last time they visited Las Vegas. Right from the moment we walked in the door the service was excellent. We had a party of seven and they sat us at the right time for our reservation. The server was very you friendly and attentive. Once the chef got to the table the small children were being shy, as a result he used the best trick in the book, bribery. This set the tone for a great night and I would highly recommend the restaurant for any occasion."

  • "We went to Fujiyama's for our Valentine's Day Anniversary. We had an excellent meal seated with two young families-9 of us. We chose the Valentine's Day special, Rib Eye, Lobster and Shrimp. YUM! The server was very pleasant and the chef was entertaining. The food was cooked to perfection! The prices were a little high, but for our special occasion, it was worth it. Our meal even came with a scoop of ice cream to top off the evening. The whole place was fun and had a happy atmosphere. All in all we had a good time."

  • "Had a 5:30 reservation and showed up early for a drink, they called us in 30 minutes early and mashed us into the openings between the two cooks - not able to see a thing. Put us in as fillers to get the earlier dinner kicked off . Although our cook did a great job - I couldn't see due to sitting basically behind him. I could see as little of the cook to his back and could hear him better. He was brand new and did absolutely nothing a cook is expected to do at a Teppanyaki style dinner. He kept telling the table he was nervous and hadn't learned any tricks and kept asking if they needed the food cooked more and if the taste was alright. If they are trying for quality and not quantity - they get a D - . Won't go back !"

  • "I have to admit I have been here before and the service was excellent. This time however I made special reservations for a First Date with someone that had never been to this restaurant before. On a Saturday night during a dinner rush there was a brand new Chef that had never had a table before and this is where a Reserved group was placed. There was no real showmanship, the Chef struggled with his job. The food has excellent flavor but was a very poor choice to have a new Chef on one of the busiest nights, Especially for those who make the reservations."

  • "No one to greet you when you come in, had to wait a few minutes for someone. My husband was ready to leave. The filet mignon should have melted in my mouth but was tough. I don't believe the scallops were real sea scallops. The soup tasted like warm, slightly onion flavored water. The mai tai cocktail I had was very good. There should be different routines from the chefs depending on the diners occasion for dining there (wedding, birthday, anniversary, etc). The service was good although I feel any napkin folding should not be performed in the main dining room, it distracts from the chefs routine."

I would have liked to have my meal items at the same time...not in pieces, Most of my food was cold waiting for the meat entree to be cooked. Qty of food was interesting, I'm afraid what the lunch size would be. Chef was very entertaining. Will return for lunch, but, not on Sunday."
