"We are new to Philadelphia and have been craving sushi--good sushi, that is--and had ventured out once only to be disappointed. After a neighbor's recommendation we decided to be brave once again and were rewarded with amazing sushi and sashimi offerings, service that was attentive yet unobtrusive and ambience that was relaxing after a stressful day. Ahhhhhhh! This will definitely be one of our favorite hang-outs here in our new Philly home!"

"Good sushi and sashimi, although seems pricey for what it is. Waiter tried to talk us out of ordering one roll, one Tempura dinner, and one sashimi platter for two for the two of us to split, suggesting we just order the roll and two appetizers. We did what we wanted and were glad we did -- it was not too much food and how would we split one shrimp tempura dinner with three shrimp as an entree for two of us? He did tell us that the shrimp tempura dinner comes with six "large" shrimp, but ours only came with 5. We pointed that out and they brought us one more shrimp. If he hadn't told us it should be 6, we never would have known. The one reason not to order the dinners is that they come with mediocre miso soup and salad."

"We had the seven-course tasting menu. The portion of the food was small but tasty, flavorful and fresh. The sushi and sashimi were of excellent quality. Mochi red bean ice cream was very delicious. Loved it."

"This was the first time I've ever eaten sushi. In my 30 years of life, I was always apprehensive about consuming raw fish, but the freshness of the dishes completely got rid of my fears and the quality was remarkable!"

"Delicious sushi and plenty of non-sushi options too. Polite and responsive service and good wine/sake/cocktail list. Intimate and quiet atmosphere. Haven't tried the karaoke yet but I'm sure "quiet" isn't the word for that!"

"We had the 7 course tasting menu and it was very delicious! So much food, I ended up packing up my entree to take home. The seaweed salad and miso soup were outstanding! The sushi was very good, as was the steak and chicken. The ice cream dessert was also unusual and fabulous. Overall, different and delicious!!"

"We were using a coupon, paying half price for soup, salad, sushi ap, kitchen ap, kitchen main, sushi main, and dessert. OUr choice in the matter was limited, as was expected. The sushi/sashimi parts were good, quite fresh and tasty. The more ambitious cooked dishes were nothing special, but not bad. Big grilled shrimp on a skewer very nice. Miso soup very nice, with seafood inside instead of tofu. Dessert just pretty standard ice cream, always nice. I would go back here for sushi, but maybe (being new to town and trying to find some favorite spots) would try somewhere else first. All staff v. courteous and pleasant."

"I am particular about my sushi and Fuji Mountain definitely stands out in my opinion. We ordered a sashimi plate for two and cucumber martinis. The miso soup was standard, but delicious. The carrot ginger dressing that you have at every sushi restaurant was the best I have ever had. It was sweet, and very fresh. There was a wide range of fish on our plate. Blue fin, yellow tail, fat belly, mackeral, shrimp, salmon, snapper, and a roll that was savoury, spicy, sweet and staisfying. I wish I could have continued eating and drinking for hours."

"We visited duirng restaurant week and were delighted by the food quality and portion sizes for price. Service is very attentive and courteous. The regular menu is well varied, and the sushi bar looked very inviting. We will go back soon to sample their regular menu."
